Depart early in the morning and travel to Talinguru Nyakunytjaku in Uluru and Kata Tjuta National Park. Witness the first rays of the sun set the Red Centre alight while enjoying a warming cup of tea or coffee. A driver guide will take you on a 45 kilometer drive to Kata Tjuta, providing a historical overview of the National Park. Arrive at the base of Walpa Gorge, where you can spend some time exploring the gorge and the unusual conglomerate rock formations. The walking trail through Walpa Gorge follows the natural creek between two of the tallest domes of Kata Tjuta.

Children: 0-23 months travel free and must be seated on guardian`s lap. 2-15 years and are charged at the child rate. AAT Kings does not provide child seats.
What to Bring: Comfortable enclosed walking shoes, water bottles with minimum 1.5L capacity, camera, sunglasses, sunscreen, hat, warm layers in cooler months, flynet in summer months, snacks or light breakfast.
Fitness requirement: Moderate level of fitness required for base walk. Base walk is approximately one-hour gentle walk on flat ground.
