I really enjoyed staying at the Hilton Bali Resort. Staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. Great location, quiet, relaxing holiday. Beautiful pools and beach, fabulous breakfast and great to have club lounge access. My room in the Cliff Tower had amazing ocean views. I loved the cute wild monkeys that I sighted in the morning and afternoon from the hotel.

Great place to stay. Although the pool is large and great it is a little tired.

really enjoyed my stay here it was fantastic and would come back any time all round service was great.

Will be going back

Free shuttle was a great service to the main shopping hub and cheaper eating options.

Paying Australian prices ($18 a cocktail) in bali

Honestly, we expected more from Nikko.
Coming here you have to be prepared to see 4 (four) star hotel instead of 5 (five), loosing overall and in every single aspect to other top 5 star resorts in Bali like St. Regis or The Laguna.
Nikko defenitely needs renovation and upgrades.
Hotel lobby for most 5 star oriental resorts is holy cow and must be inpeccable. But not for Nikko. Dark spots on the columns and fading paint is what Nikko hotel shows you on your arrival and every time you go for breakfast.
Overall very nice hotel, very friendly staff and quiet remote location with monkey forest and epic ocean views.

I'm going to be very objective when rating the hotel during my recent stay. This is really an awesome hotel and the facilities are second to none. The rooms are very well appointed and the service is fantastic. You simply cant beat their facilities, this is really meeting every aspect of a 5 star facility. The wifi was really good too and you could access it almost everywhere, almost better than my home wifi!

But......I have to point out a few issues I think is worth considering when you book this hotel.

- the hotel is a long way from any shops, restaurants and Bali collection. You do have a shuttle bus every hour to and from Bali collection, but if you enjoy doing a few things outside the facility, you will end up speding a fair bit of your time in taxi's (the blue bird one's aren't too expensive)

- the prices of food and drinks at the resort are just plain rediculous. I appreciate this is a 5 star facility, but in Bali these prices is more than just a bit rich ($20 a cocktail and about $40 to $50 for a simple meal)

- the breakfast caters predominantly for Asian people, and I appreciate that Asain folks made up the most of the headcount when we stayed there at least. You have very very limited choices if you are from the Western side and by day 5 I simply couldnt stomach the same choice of brekkie. If this is not an issue for you, then you should be fine.

I've stayed at the Grand Aston and the Nusa Dua Novotel a few times before, and I can say that my feel is that Nikko's facilities are better, but the overall experience is simply not on par with the other two places I stayed.

If you have a large spending budget and dont mind the stuff I raised above, I'm sure you'll have a wonderful time at this resort.

We absolutely love the Nikko. This was our second stay there, but about our 7th time staying in the Nusa Dua area. We love the Nikko's secluded location away from main Nusa Dua - it feels as though you are on a small tropical island totally away from the rest of the world. The Nikko was just as wonderful this time as it was when we stayed a few years ago. We stayed in the Nikko Club which is the most perfect getaway for couples. The staff and facilities are so amazing there and we can't wait to go back!

Lovely resort for younger kids.

I had a most enjoyable stay at the Grand Nikko. Though the bathrooms in the bedrooms are beginning to look a little tired, everything else was lovely. I loved the location, the isolation from the hustle and bustle of other parts of the island, the light and space in the rooms and the public areas. Food, service etc. was excellent, though perhaps a little more seasoning in the food (all a little bland} and the bar staff could do with some help to speed up the service - when you come in hot and tired, you don't want to wait 15 minutes for your first cool drink! Thank you for a lovely stay.

Great loved it we upgraded and had club access and an ocean view.

We were told by our travel agent that this resort you will love,and they weren't wrong, for what we were charged worked out to be $100.00 a day that is flights and motel plus breakfast for each of us .The breakfast at this resort will blow you away , the staff are always smiling and can't look after you enough ,the view overlooking the pool and the ocean is awesome ,they have a great shuttle bus to bali collection and kuta ,I am waiting for a 16day package to come up and will grab it straight away,another great thing is if you want to go to bali collection for a meal ,just ring the restaurant and they will come and pick you up and take you to there restaurant free of charge and take you back to your motel,you can't get better service than that .PS try the tropical at bali collection they have fantastic food there
