The location is beautiful but it was the staff that were the highlight of our stay. From the moment we arrived to the time we departed, we were looked after by the wonderful friendly staff of the Melia Nusa Dua. Nothing was too much trouble. We look forward to returning!
Absolutely loved our stay at Melia. Was our second time. Will definately be back after renos. Highly recommend
The hotel grounds and gardens are beautiful with roaming geese and ducks. A stepping stone path takes you accross a linked series of coy carp filled ponds with islands. The pool was a good size with various depths to suit all ages.
The rooms however we're a bit tired looking and in need of a revamp.
Hotel staff we're fantastic as per the usual Bali standard, always attentive, happy to help, polite and smiling. We had an issue with TV reception in our 2 rooms and it was dealt with quickly. The staff followed up with apologies for the disruption and gave us gifts of box's of hand made biscuits and a 6pm check out on our last day as we didn't fly until late.
Melia Nusa Dua was very nice. First time staying at this resort our hotel was very nice with garden views, the room may come across a little dated but still nice. House keeping were amazing they always cleaned our room and provided us with fresh towels, bottled water and attended to any requests. There are some lovely restaurants on site, can be alittle pricy though. The buffet breakfast was great lots of variety of different food choices, everything is fresh and topped up and they also can cater if you have certain food requests. Swimming pool is good and there is a beach which is at the back of the resort, walking distance. The resort is family friendly great if you have kids. Nusa Dusa is a little further out from Seminyak and Kuta so you would need to arrange a driver from the resort. It has very good security aswell when you enter the gates. Overall the staff were very welcoming and lovely so we really enjoyed our trip to Bali it was my first time there so i would definitely go back and i would recommend staying at this resort.
all good
We had such an enjoyable time at The Melia Nusa Dua. The food, staff, and the resort itself were amazing. The all inclusive package is the way to go!
The only thing was disappointed was as we had late flyth they could not have late checkout
Resort was beautiful, well kept, really clean. Lovely staff. We had a wonderful holiday and will definitely go back
I stayed here for 4 nights for a solo business trip and the hotel was amazing. Lots of choices to eat and beautiful food.
This resort is perfect if you have a family with kids club and heaps of activities. The pool was huge with lots of seating available. Staff were super friendly and couldn't be more helpful. I'd definitely stay here again.
Melia was a great hotel to stay in, it was very relaxing and an enjoyable area. The staff were all helpful and friendly. Would recommend this hotel for families who want to just relax.
The resort was fantastic the Gardens/ pools and service fantastic in all a great resort to stay at staff friendly and helpful plus a very safe area
The first time I ever went to Bali, but I will be coming back, especially to The Melia at Nusa Dau. I chose the all-inclusive package which included all you could eat and drink (including, beer, wine, spirits and cocktails) was well worth the extra costs (and I am sure I came out on top...). There are five, five star restaurants at the Melia, all serving different cuisines and the food at every restaurant was faultless. Four of the restaurants were al-a-carte and the fifth was smorgasbord. The variety of food, the freshness of produce, the attentive and friendly staff made my stay there a holiday I will always remember and use as a benchmark for future trips. The accommodation and amenities were too many to describe. II will definitely be going back to The Melia, and in fact looking at other countries I can visit using the chain of resorts.
We enjoyed our stay at the Meliá with great breakfast selection however we foi d the restaurants were fairly limited. Not sure if all rooms are the same but we didn't realise the shower was over the bath and quite slippery when getting out of the bath. Overall though, it was a nice place to stay with close proximity to the beach.
4th stay at Melia Bali and still am awed at how beautiful the resort is - the staff are incredible so genuine in their service offer and friendliness food outstanding and the pool beach and gardens are amazing ! Will go back as you know you will have a totally awesome break and experience from check in to checkout 5 star on all levels
Attentive staff at every level and pure joy to stay
Melia Nusa Dua is great. From first arrival it feels luxurious and imposing, whereas the Balinese (and other) staff are polite and friendly without fault. We stayed in two adjacent ground level rooms that open up on to semi-private pools, one for us and one for our 3 teenage sons. It looked like luxury to them, and a bit like a villa to us, which was a win all around (they didn't fancy hanging out at the pool with lots of other little kids).
The buffet breakfast was great, although you settle into a groove where you don't go too silly with food. There are other good dinner options within a walk or quick taxi ride nearby.
Only two other things to say:
- in some parts the hotel looked it's age (i.e. not brand spanking new), though not a problem unless you're really fussy
- Nusa Dua is a bit of a trek to some of the other places you might like to go in Bali, like the beaches near Uluwatu, or Kuta/Seminyak, or Ubud. Taxis are pretty cheap, and the hotel can organise them for you, but if you want to go out, you have to bear that in mind.
I'd go back to Melia though.

Can't wait to go back!
Upgrading to the level was amazing adults only pool and beach area and level breakfast area.
Service was a 10/10 and resort itself is incredibly beautiful. Will be returning 100%
Nusa Dua prices are more expensive then the rest of Bali but you can budget if needed.
From the minute we got out of our transfers the staff were so welcoming and helpful, nothing was a drama the whole holiday. The resort was spectacular, everything was spotlessly clean. The food was lovely in the resort but a little bit expensive so we ate at the Bali collection shopping centre 5minutes up the road. We went over as a couple but will be bringing the whole family back asap.
We love Melia, it was our second time back and we would return again!
Staff are so so nice. Was here 30 years ago and it's pretty much the same. Gamelan sounds on arrival with traditional dancers, the same gorgeous welcome. Couldn't say enough about the staff hospitality, we had the swim up pool rooms and ordered drinks and snacks and they were always responsive in quick time. These people have done it rough thru covid and it would be hard on them to see us party. I hope that the little extra tips helped a family or two. I will come back again soon, for sure. The staff at Melia made my holiday.
The hotel was great. Only problem for us it was away from town. It is a resort area with resort prices Perfect if you want a stay in resort type holiday everything was at your fingertips. Too remote for our holiday otherwise great
Loved the all Including was great value. Staff were all lovely and a staff member was going around asking for feedback on how to improve the resort. We had a big issue with there not being an ATM in the resort as it was a long walk to the nearest ATM )that wasn't working) we loved the air conditioned departure lounge while we waited for our transfers. They did a lovely birthday cake and song for my 50th birthday and the sand artist drew a happy birthday message in the hotel for me. Would be great to have an adults only pool with a swim up bar and music. Their Christmas decor were amazing!!! The hotel medic was awesomely after injuring my toe and did not cost anything. Highly recommend Meliá Bali to anyone heading over that way
Was very good staff service.
We loved our stay at the Melia resort. A high quality hotel on simply beautiful tropical gardens and with its own beach front. The "level" experience is well worth it. The staff, food, pools etc are just superb.
It was amazing, enjoyed it so much, we will definitely be back
We stayed for 3 nights and everything was perfect. We loved it. The room was spacious with a balcony. The buffet breakfast had a large choice from: cereal, eggs, pancakes, pastries, yoghurt, & a few Asian dishes The pool was big and the grounds were huge and gave you a great sense of Bali...We found the staff to be very polite and friendly. The 2 nights we ate at the Resort there was entertainment. Bali collection is just 10 minutes walking down the road and the beach is right out the front. We found Nusa Dua to be nice and quiet. We highly recommend the Melia Bali to stay at.
We really couldn't fault our stay, the resort rooms/buildings/grounds were spotless and the staff could not do enough for you. They were all so friendly, efficient and helpful. I would and have already recommended to family and friends and would definitely stay there again.
