Loved everything about the island! From the welcome singing, the room, the beautiful & friendly staff & the delicious food!

We had a great relaxing time here. The staff were amazing! They all remembered our names, even people we never met knew our names. It was my sisters 40th birthday and on her day they sneakily decorated her bed with flowers and a towel cake. Everyone we ran in to said happy birthday to her. And the singing when they brought out the birthday cake was fantastic! The room was great, the pool was great, the restaurant by the pool was great…except for the dinner menu. Not enough variety and there was nothing on it that I would eat.

The "Family" at Tropica Resort are the most friendly, happy and welcoming people we have experienced anywhere on our travels over the years.
They made my wife's 70th Birthday very special and unforgettable.
We will return for my 70th and see, which is now our family, again soon.

We felt like Tropica family from day 1. Every single worker/employee smiled,greeted and were interested in our daily activity and if we needed anything and were we feeling relaxed. They worked hard but continually smiled and said BULA whenever they saw us.
The rooms were spacious - the outdoor shower was my Husbands favourite thing.
The gardens were spectacular, the views are second to none.
The nightly singing was beautiful to listen to.
We are already saving to come back again.

The staff at Tropica truly went above and beyond. My partner and i had a fantastic island getaway. Would defiantly recommend to those looking for an romantic break away.

Tropica has a beautiful location, great pool, fabulous food, the staff are fantastic, Fijian singing was a treat, snorkeling off the beach and via boat was great

Pure relaxation is the theme here, you can do nothing but admire the amazing views, drink and eat great cocktails and food and if you feel the need to do something you can snorkel, sail, paddleboard and kayak which you dont have to pay extra for. The staff are all really lovely and love singing and laughing and take care of your every wish

We travel a fair bit and rate Tropica at the top for Service from our experiences at luxury resorts across the globe. The staff made us feel special and valued everyday even though they were running at almost full occupancy. Also loved the location of the resort and available activities. Don't miss snorkeling and lunch picnic at the sandbar - one of the best spots we've visited! Tour to the island where Castaway was filmed was spectacular too. Food was good overall but menu is limited specially if you're there for over three nights. Brekkie can be better too but loved the tapas at Sunset Bar. There are other resorts around for more food options but they are a short boat ride away and the resort charges a high price if you chose to travel to them. Beachfront Bure is the accommodation option you should take. The others are not worth it, even the more expensive suites! Bure's are not well stacked in terms of toiletries - carry your own ear buds, cotton buds, etc

Tropica was beautiful and everyone was so pleasant and polite!
They went out of their way to look after us and the food was good. Pity that we went during some bad periods of weather but it was great nonetheless!

Great resort for couples, very quiet and peaceful, friendly staff, clean rooms. Meals were excellent, menus changed daily, restaurant service can be a bit slow, i.e our drinks were delivered after mains were served and sometimes over half an hour wait between courses..but if you adjust to island time it's ok.

Tropica is a beautiful place to stay and relax as it is so peaceful. The staff were happy and friendly and they learnt our names very quickly & greeted us each time with it. We celebrated our wedding anniversary during our stay there and to our surprise they brought us a piece of cake for dessert with Happy Anniversary Mr and Mrs Watson written on the plate and sang 2 songs to us - we found this to be a lovely touch.

What a fantastic place to relax and enjoy what Fiji has best to offer. The staff are wonderful and extemely friendly, you really feel like part of the Tropica family. The food is amazing, with a different menu each day, they certainly have a great Chief. This was our second time a Tropica and it will not be our last. Thank you to all the staff 'Vinaka'.

The best and most friendly staff we have experienced anywhere. The food was restaurant quality with a menu that changed daily.
As it was only a small resort sometimes you felt like you were the only people on the island.
There was a wide range of activities to choose from away from the island or you could just use the excellent equipment that Tropica provided on the island. A very enjoyable and relaxing holiday.

Great place for a quiet relaxing time enjoying our 30th Wedding Anniversary. Spectacular sunsets and caring, thoughtful, talented staff.

We had a fantastic time in our honeymoon. Rooms are wonderfull, staff is 7 stars and the food his great. They organize activities everyday as snorkeling, parasailing, jetsking and village tours. I hope I can return again to this resort soon.

A short boat ride away and a million miles from Denarau Island with its big, relatively impersonal luxury hotels. This small resort allowed us to get to know other guests and the wonderful staff who made our stay a fantastic experience. The snorkelling off the beach and nearby islands was great, though the visibility was a bit variable. The trip to Mondriki Island was a highlight. Dining was excellent value and very relaxed. Pool was unbeatable in terms of peace and views. The warmth of our welcome and farewell makes us want to go back again soon. Next time though we will bypass Denarau and head straight for the islands, to experience true Fijian hospitality and friendliness, which was the real highlight of our stay.

I highly recommend Tropica for a wonderfully relaxing getaway. My daughter and I spent a week enjoying the simplicity, incredible beauty and friendliness of the resort and came home feeling so lucky to have had the experience. There's so much to do if you want to, or nothing if you just fancy sitting poolside with a drink and a good book. The Fijian staff are beautiful people - always ready to help and have a laugh (and sing!) - nothing was a problem. And the beachfront bures are heaven! Sitting on your porch on a swing seat, sipping wine and looking out onto swaying palm trees and perfect blue seas is impossible to beat. It's even better than it looks in the photos! We will definitely be going back.

We absolutely loved Tropica Island Resort! It was amazing and we recommend for anyone who wants a romantic, peaceful, relaxing get away. The staff were friendly, the food was terrific and all and all it was a fabulous holiday destination!

We fell across Tropica Island by accident and could not have been happier!! Perfect relaxtion and quiet time for couples with still enough activities and options to keep you entertained. Not the place for those wanting to party or be loud or have mulitple food and drink options but if you are after some R&R there is no where better in the world!! Highly recommended

The Tropica Island Resort was a wonderful place to spend our honeymoon and I would recommend it specifically for couples. The main reason being that the resort is purely for relaxation and access to other islands/the mainland is difficult and expensive (even by Australian standards). The staff at Tropica are top notch, friendly and welcoming, nothing is too much to ask and they see to your every requirement.

Tropica has been transformed into a brilliant resort which has amazing facilities, daily activities and staff that can't do enough to help make the holiday a dream. This will certainly "boom" in future as more and more people find out about it.

We loved Tropica, I have even written a review on Trip Advisor. It was great to meet the owners and managers of the resort. They were receptive to feedback and were really proud of it. Whilst still under going construction, it was quiet and perfect for a couples holiday. Great daily activiites and easy access to other resorts and beaches.

Just needs a few finishing touches and construction to finish . Need to work on the spa location. Also need more sand on the beach.
