Absolutely loved our mini break. Location, no kids, live music, weather - everything was lovely. Only suggestion would be bed linen that fits the size of the bed. 2 separate doonas was odd

From the moment we got picked up from airport to the drop off at airport after 8 night stay, it was an amazing trip from our room being ground level right outside the pool, to all staff at all points were friendly and just generally making our stay perfect, even our neighbours were lovely. I'm going to re book for next year.

Hotel was lovely. We were upgraded but ended up asking to go back to original room due to the upgraded room having a shower in the bath which was not good for my husband. Beautiful grounds and pool areas. Great massage hut and no dearer than ones on the beach. The only drawback was that it was too far away from shopping district of Patong and not much around the Kamala Beach area. The hotel did provide a shuttle bus though so that was good. Overall a lovely place to stay.

We absolutely loved our stay at Sunprime kamala beach the rooms were large as we were given an upgrade . We were in a pool view so 10 steps and you were swimming ,4 great pools in the resort. The breakfasts have everything you need and were delicious . The Thai staff are all so friendly we loved our chats with them . Very impressed would return we had an excellent holiday.
The whole stay from check in to check out was outstanding. The thing that stood out the most was the service. Every single staff member goes above and beyond to make the stay an experience. Tawan in the poolside restaurant was an absolute highlight every morning. Also Skop gave us fantastic service.
The room was spacious and clean and had everything we needed. The bed was super comfortable.
As for the facilities, having 4 pools to choose from and a beach on the doorstep left us spoilt for choice.
I couldn't recommend this place any higher.
We'll definitely be back.
The Sunprime Kamala Beach is a serene escape on one of the best beaches in Phuket. The rooms are great. The staff are so friendly. The pools are nice and the food is excellent.
There are great beachfront restaurants an easy walk away and the little township of Kamala is a pleasant walk in the opposite direction.
Altogether a top holiday destination.
Sunprime is a gret spot just to relax and do nothing else.

Great Adults Only Resort. RIGHT on the beach, magnificent views. Staff are incredible. Cheaper eating and drinking options are also within easy walking distance. The water in the ocean was clean and warm. The 4 pools at the resort were spotlessly clean and crystal clear.

You have plenty of space in this big hotel. Sun Beds are well catered for, and there are four wonderful pools. Breakfast is a daily feast that keeps you going all day. The location is excellent next to the sea with great beach walks. A great place to stay if you are looking for sun sea and relaxation!!

We had everything we needed - loved the balcony overlooking one of the 4 available pools to choose from. Plenty of sunbeds - the food was excellent with an outstanding breakfast that kept us going all day. Right next to the beach with wonderful warm tropical seawater. Very relaxing and had everything we needed to make it such an enjoyable holiday. The staff always had a smile for you and so, so helpful. Must shout out to 'YOH' who made the 'breakfast time' fun, together with her colleague who was always ready to fill our cup up with coffee. Thank you to all the staff that worked hard in making a wide variety of excellent food available to everyone... Excellent work guys!! If you are looking for a kids-free hotel with a great friendly atmosphere then look no further...
Our first trip to Thailand and Sunprime Kamala Beach was recommended to us. Fabulous location - enough restaurants and people to not feel too isolated. We will be back!
We enjoyed our stay at the resort, great location with Kamala Beach walking distance with shops and restaurants. Patong Beach is a short driver away and easy access there. Good value for drinks and food at the resort. Staff very friendly and responsive. Food and cocktails very good. Had a few issues during our stay and staff were helpful in assisting us. Really enjoyed the fact it was an adults only resort, I would however say that for young singles who want to party they would probably find resorts closer to Patong Beach to be more lively for clubbing and late night partying.
Location is perfect. Right on the beach and only minutes walk to shops, bars and restaurants. If you don't feel like going far the choice of pools, bars and entertainment at the resort have you covered. The staff are absolutely lovely and accommodating. Only slight complaint was the bed, it was very hard and unfortunately the bedding didn't quite cover my feet and shoulders at the same time. I am not overly tall. But it was clean and I did manage to sort something out. Would highly recommend Sunprime Kamala Beach and hope to return again.

We had a great time at Sunprime resort.. we loved that it was right on the beach, adults only and close enough to restaurants, massages and only 30 minutes to Patong..
We enjoyed our week at Sunprime. Staff were lovely and the pools were fabulous to lounge is and around. The restaurant by the sea provided tasty meals. We had daily massages which were very well priced (hence why we went almost daily). The room was a good size and the aircon worked a treat for a good nights sleep. It was nice to stroll along the beach which is just outside the property. Though an older property, we enjoyed it and loved that it was adults only. We would stay again if we plan to stay at Kamala beach.
A great place for couples no kids must be 16 & over the staff sensational. Good food, great pools, on Kamala beach shops etc close, have been there 6 times
Really enjoyed our stay here. Breakfast had plenty of options, there were also a variety of restaurants within walking distance. The many pools including some with bars were good so it didn't feel crowded - admittedly it was the rainy season and there was no road to cross to get to the beach.
Staff were friendly and the front desk was helpful. Not as crazy as Patong is now. Would stay here again.

We had a great holiday at Sunprime Kamala Beach on the island of Phuket! This large Adults only (16+) resort boasts all the facilities you could ever want for your holiday, including several large pools, swim up bars, decent gym, fitness centre with a great trainer, nice restaurant on site, massage/spa for some pampering, plenty of communal spaces with games, books, etc as well as an onsite doctor and minimart.
Our room was comfy and had a nice balcony overlooking 2 of the pools, a king bed, couch and plenty of space.
It is located right on Kamala Beach, with easy access to nearby shops, markets and attractions, meaning you can really be as busy or as low key as you choose! The restaurant has a huge menu of both Thai and international food choices, as well as an extensive breakfast buffet each morning.
What really made it, as with any trip, was the fantastic and very accomodating staff. We felt very well looked after from the moment we arrived at reception, to the restaurant servers, bar and pool staff, the cleaners and even security. I enjoyed some fitness classes with Ash (sorry if I got the name wrong) in the fitness centre, which offers everything from Yoga, Pilates, Aquarobics, Tabata, Zumba and more! I also enjoyed the well equipped gym for my personal workouts. And what better way to relax after a workout than with a traditional Thai Massage?
A big highlight for us on our trip was Carnival Magic, which is a convenient stroll across the road from Sunprime. This was a truly unique experience that can only be described as pure joy! We really enjoyed our 8 night stay with Sunprime and highly recommend it, especially for couples who are after a kid free resort.

Spent 14 nights at this resort with 2 other couples for a reunion. The accommodation was lovely, the staff are so friendly and helpful, and the food in the hotel restaurant was absolutely amazing. Can't wait to return next year.
Good amenities within the complex, easy access to upper floors by lifts. Great location on the beach and close to local restaurants, markets, townsand entertainment such as Carnival Magic and Fantasea. Staff friendly and helpful. Well kept gardens and pools, rooms always cleaned very well and stocked with water and toiletries. A lovely and relaxing vibe for a vacation.

Great location right on Kamala beach giving easy access to many restaurants & shops plus a regular market and the Thai Fantasea show all nearby. The resort has numerous great well maintained facilities and we found our room and especially the bed was very comfortable. The restaurant by the sea offers numerous food choices - a huge choice. The resort staff were outstanding - very friendly and interested in making our stay one to remember. Although Kamala beach doesn't have the hustle and bustle of Patong beach it is only 10km away and can be easily accessed via hotel shuttle bus, taxi or Tuk Tuk if required all at very reasonable rates. We would definitely have no hesitation in recommending and staying at this resort again.
Excellent location right on the beach which had pretty good surf in July. Enjoyed the warmth and lots of local dining options nearby. The resort is large and a bit of a maze to find your way around if your room is toward the back. Nice rooms and wonderful friendly service with a smile from all the resort staff. Special mention to Sakip in the restaurant.
Our trip to Sunprime Kamala Beach Resort was so my wife & I could celebrate our brother-in-law Gordon's 60th birthday, along with another longtime good friend. The facilities and environment at Sunprime Kamala Beach were perfect - excellent, comfortable rooms, with everything we needed and great housekeeping. When the staff learned it was Gordon's 60th, they very thoughtfully took it upon themselves to rearrange our bookings, giving us an upgrade to 3 adjacent rooms. We really appreciated the extra consideration!
The breakfast buffet had a great variety of good food, and service was 10/10, with very cheerful and attentive staff ready to help with smiles all around. They even brought Gordon a cake at his birthday breakfast, when they got wind it was his 60th! Service, drinks, and food at the pool bar and for lunch & dinner at the restaurant were just as good.
The pools were great, Ash the fitness instructor was good fun and very versatile, and the location in Kamala Beach was excellent.
We also really appreciated the over-16s requirement at our resort, but were pleased to see that the adjacent, family-friendly Sunwind Resort appeared to have equally great facilities, making these 2 resorts excellent options for family/friends' get-togethers to suit all lifestyles.
Although the cost was a bit more than we would normally pay, we did splurge for this special occasion, and the quality of the facilities and services, plus the extremely considerate staff made it very memorable, and excellent value for money.

Adult accommodation with 4 pools and beach frontage and 2 restaurants. Easy walk to local restaurants and Fantasea across the road. Large resort, very clean.
Loved our stay here. Quite a lot of Russians staying here but they kept to themselves and didn't seem to cause any issues. We noticed how they didn't interact with the staff much whereas we did and got more of a welcome. The resort while large was not too busy. Breakfast was good and meal choices close by were very good.

The resort was amazing, even better than anticipated. The pools were great and as it was quiet, we often had one to ourselves. Staff were very responsive, helpful and courteous. The resort was in a lovely quiet location that was in walking distance to many restaurants and massage places. Busier Patong was only a 10 min taxi drive away.

We stayed for 8 days and had the most relaxing and pleasant time. Sun Prime was the perfect location for our 1st trip to Thailand. Located in Kamala right on the beach, this resort had it all. 5 pristine pools, where 2 had swim-up bars, and the cocktails were great. A restaurant that served Thai food. A mini mart if you didn't want to leave the resort. The service was friendly & excellent. The room was comfortable & quiet. There was even a 'bouncer' at the beach gate so no children under 16yo could enter! The village, a mere easy 10-minute walk, offered all you needed without the rushed, busyness of Patong. Market stalls are aplenty. We would come back here again. Highly recommend.

Sunprime Kamala has a mint location right on the beautiful beach front. Staff were always friendly & accommodating. Our room was a bit dated but always serviced to a high standard. The fact that it was a couples retreat and that there were no children around made for a very enjoyable, relaxing vacation.
Friendly, very helpful staff. Beautiful location right on the gorgeous beach and away from busy/noisy areas in Phuket, yet plenty of places to eat/enjoy and local shops to purchase from day or night. Amazing to sit in outdoor comfortable chair at Sunprime during happy hour and watch the sunset ! Easy to take local transport via apps or organise taxi and shuttle with Sunprime reception. Massages at resort were so handy in the centre outdoor area and such nice ladies.

This is the best accommodation we have ever stayed in. We have traveled all over the world and have never found a 10 out of 10. Sunprime exceeded all our expectations.
Just a small minus.. at some times during the day the beach was to rough for swimming. The beach is immaculate and perfect sitting on your sun lounge with umbrella.
Also an about 20 cafes and restaurants along beach strip.
You can get your favourite cocktail or snacks delivered to your spot on the beach.
The location was fantastic you couldn't beat it with the beach right out the front. Great restaurants nearby and great food within the resort. Pools and pool bar were awesome especially the Pineapple Mai Tai. All the staff we encountered went above and beyond . Rooms are a little outdated but we didn't care you're only sleeping there. As an added bonus we were given a free room upgrade. Can't fault the property we will be back
We were so happy with the location as well, 3 times a week a local market would set up just outside of the resort, local shops and street vendors all around and an amazing beach right at the rear of the complex also 2 of Phukets major attractions (Fantasea and Carnival) are a 5 minute walk. Sunprime is located approximately 20min by any mode of motor transport from Patong which was perfect in our opinion, far away enough from the hustle and bustle but close enough when you want the night time entertainment etc and getting to Patong was easy via a shuttle bus from Sunprime, a Smartbus or taxi.
We both agree that when we go back to Phuket Sunprime Kamala Beach would be our first choice. Thanks to all

Having travelled a lot, this is one of the better properties that we have stayed at. It is "Adults only" so no screaming kids in the four pools. The food is great, well prepared and well presented. The staff are even more friendly than the usual in Thailand and the location is right on the beach with no roads to cross. Full marks to Manager Jason who went the extra mile for my birthday with flowers. fruit and a bottle of bubbles in the restaurant with dinner. The staff sang happy birthday. Yes, this is a property that understand the needs and wants of its clients.
This establishment is in a perfect location, and ticks almost all the boxes for a perfect holiday in Phuket Thailand. The rooms are spacious, clean, and very comfortable except for a very firm bed. The staff are so friendly and eager to make your holiday that little bit more special. The buffet breakfast was well set out and provided you a tasty and filling start to each day, and the air conditioning provided you with cooling comfort to escape the days and nights intense humidity and heat. For anyone seeking a holiday that ticks the boxes, this resort is perfect for a week or more vacation of choice in the tropics.
A very good hotel with great staff and facilities were excellent.
We stayed in a 'deluxe pool view room' for our 10 night stay. The room was situated on the ground floor and opened up to an enclosed balcony that we could open up and walk only a few steps to the large pool at the rear of the resort.
Our room was large and well appointed. The king size bed was very comfortable. Plenty of room to accommodate two open suitcases, lots of hooks for hanging. A large wardrobe (that we didn't need to use) and an inroom safe for valuables. There is also a good size fridge and staff will provide two bottles of water each day. The rest of the fridge can be filled by you.
Housekeeping did a great job throughout our stay.
Staff were extremely helpful and went above and beyond. A perfect example was on our second night I couldn't get Netflix to work. A call to reception and a 'tech' was sent directly to our room. Unfortunately, he was unable to get streaming services to work so reception arranged to have our television replaced to a new smart tv. Fantastic!
Breakfast was amazing. There was everything you could possibly want. The breaky staff (Jazz, Fanta & Tawan in particular) were just fantastic. So friendly and welcoming every morning.
The pools are just lovely. We preferred the rear pools which were much quieter than the front two pools. It all depends on what you are looking for in a holiday. The resort has direct access to the beach. Literally only a few steps out of the back gate and you are on the beach and turn right you come across the many restaurants, cafes and market stalls. Turn left and head down over the bridge to the night market and street with more choices for restaurants. The Big C Supermarket is a ten minute walk away. Plenty of options to buy snacks, drinks, supplies etc.
Back at the resort there is a mini-mart with lots of choices should you not want to make the walk to Big C.
We also had a couple of massages at the resort. Staff were lovely and the price was the same as external massage places we went past. A word of caution... the massages were painful! Even when we asked for light and relaxing, I ended up bruised. We would have had a massage every day but it was simply too painful for us.
The dining room for lunch and dinner was 'okay'. The food just wasn't up to the standard of breakfast and with so many other choices for dining, after eating there once, we went elsewhere. Again, it is personal choice.
All in all, this was an absolutely fantastic place for our holiday. Sunprime was amazing and we give it five stars out of five. Staff, location, amenities, everything was wonderful. We will be back.
Stayed here before and will come back again. Great location for relaxing with easy access to good local restaurants, massages and nick nack shopping. All the staff are super friendly and helpful and the property is very well maintained. Literally on a beautiful beach with to die for sunsets. My only issues are that the sea view rooms are a little tired and could probably do with an update, and that the breakfasts are good ... everything covered, but become a little repetitive. Can't wait to go back.

First time in Thailand. Amazing place, such nice friendly, obliging people. Apart from the heat and humidity the Stay was fun & memorable. We will return next year to the Sunprime Resort at Kamala Beach for sure. Our room was so central to everything. The food was well above our expectations. Just walk outside for a Taxi or Took Took into nearby Patong for shopping. Chill out in one of 4 pools all day, 2 with swim up Bars.Overall ..Great time..

Great location next to Kalama beach. x4 pools. Some exercise classes. Breakfast was good and lots of variety. A fan would have been useful near our room to keep the mosquitos away. Caters for smokers. Lots of sunbeds to chose from. Staff were amazing and the room was clean and roomy. Needed a doctor and the hotel one advertised on their website was not there, so had to travel by taxi to one.

Sunprime Kamala is in a great location on Kamala Beach and it is staffed by a lovely, helpful and responsive team. The absence of children at the resort makes it incredibly serene and relaxing - birdsong is usually the only noise to hear when lying by the pool

What a fabulous time we experienced at Sunprime Resort Kamala Beach. There was nothing at all to complain about. The staff were brilliant and the meals were very good. Location wise it was quiet and just what we wanted. The weather was humid which we dealt with . I would recommend to any couple wanting to get away to visit this establishment. We will return again in the future.

Excellent location, right on beach and short walk to restaurants, shops and markets. Included breakfast was very substantial and fresh. We did not eat at the restaurant for other meals except for a couple of room service meals which were value for money and yummy. All staff were super friendly and helpful. Grounds/pool were always clean and tidy. Over 16yr to stay policy was brilliant!!!!!

Families are catered for at the adjacent Sunwing Resort. Quieter part of Phuket but resort's location is terrific wit a beachfront location and several bars, restaurants and market stalls along the promenade. The resort is currently undergoing renovations so not all facilities were available during our stay. Staff are very friendly and courteous and the resort is well maintained and kept very clean. Would recommend a stay here.

perfect location if one is looking for a quieter spot, at the same time a short walking distance from cafes, shops and a large evening market.
we loved staying there, and now that my children are all grown up I appreciated not having children around (makes me feel mean tho). Service is impeccable and resources available locally.
I was I little disappointed when we first arrived as we didn't get the room I thought we were getting but the hotel staff went out of their way to change and we got a really great room. The staff are exceptional. The hotel customer relations manager Olof is very good also.
You want a nice place with adults only? Then this is for you, it's beach front and has to lovely big pools and lots of lounges for you to lay about, wifi is fantastic and never drops out because there are no kiddies playing there game choking the network great service, and food, I'm coming back !!
We stayed 8 nights at Sunprime Kamala Beach. It is beach-side and offers beautiful uninterrupted views of the ocean and we could hear and see the ocean from our second floor, garden view room. The staff were very friendly and helpful at all times. Nothing was too much trouble. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again if staying in Kamala Beach. Other than breakfast that was included, we didn't really eat in the restaurant. Breakfast was ample and had a lot of choices for Westerners however, not a lot of 'local' or Asian food options, which is our preference.
The snacks/poolside menu is also quite limited and again, very Westernised. The pool bar offers the usual options local and international beer, wine and cocktails. The beer was not cold enough for our liking (love an icy cold beer!).
The room was nice and very clean, there was a thorough clean daily (washed floors inside and on the balcony).
The bathroom is tiny and that is probably the only negative as there is really only space for one person at a time in there although the shower is roomy with enough room for two, it is at least half of the entire bathroom. We were in the wing that is due to undergo a refurbishment so the bathrooms may be included in that. The decor is ok and perhaps a little tired but again, that may all change with the upgrades due to take place.
It is centrally located to the local markets and local shopping areas. There are lots of local food options available within a short walking distance all offering both western and Thai food options.
We loved Sunprime Kamala Beach!
Our experience at Sunprime Kamala exceeded our expectations. It was our first time to the area so didn't know what to expect. The location is fantastic. Right on the beach where you can watch the most beautiful sunsets. Lots of local food options along the beachfront. The hotel itself offered great service with all staff being friendly and welcoming. The rooms are refurbished and are comfortable & clean. Breakfast is fantastic with lots of options. We also ate a few other meals at the restaurant and all were very good. We would definitely return.
Had a great stay here. Location was perfect right on the beach. Only downside was we were on level 3 and there is no elevator and the stairs are quite steep my partnerhas recentlyhad a hop replacement so wasn'tthe best, the bed was also like sleeping on a slab of rock but many beds in Asia are like this?? Had a great holiday anyway staff were awesome and the breakfast was great. So close to many bars and restaurants.

I spent 9 nights in this slice of paradise resort in Kamala beach, phuket. It's a solid 4 to 4.5 star resort located right on a spectacular beach with to die for sunsets. The rooms, common areas, pools and grounds are all warm, welcoming and spotlessly clean. Breakfast buffet is good, though a little repetitive but always with something for all the varied guests from around the world. Location is awesome if you want to venture out for meals and shopping. If you want to stay in, then the bars and restaurants have a good selection of drinks and food at very reasonable prices. Above all, the staff were friendly and accommodating of any requests. Shout out to Olaf who runs the resort with his great team. Can't wait to return.

A fantastic beachfront location, close to local shopping, dining, and attractions. The large resort is well set out and sits among a range of swimming pools, manicured lawns, and exceptional tropical gardens. Our accommodation was well-resourced, clean, comfortable, quiet, and close to dining and other resort facilities.
The staff is friendly and attentive to the needs of guests providing exceptional customer service and always happy to assist with information and suggestions for activities. I would definitely recommend Sunprime Kamala Beach as a quality beach-side holiday destination.

We had a pleasant stay. All staff friendly and supportive. Commenced some renovations just before we left so a little concerned for our next stay in a couple of months. Would have been nice to have some dance nights, which we had to instigate.

Kamala Beach is perfect, and property location great. You don't get hassled at all but can find shopping and food if you want it. Big rooms and great pools.

Great location for relaxation and dining with a good breakfast buffet and outside dining options. Was happily accommodated when we requsted a ground floor poolside room.
The only small negative was the tour rides in vans were very long to each location and back.

Highlights: The pools, the value of the on-site options and the staff.
The choice of 4 swimming pools, all beautifully maintained, meant we often had the water to ourselves and plenty of lounge bed choice. (We also appreciated the fact that there were no children at the resort particularly when using the pool) The on-site massages and restaurant and mini mart were basically the same price more or less as outside the resort. It meant we stayed in-house a lot. We enjoyed using the gym, the yoga and water aerobics. The staff were lovely and efficient, I have been to Thailand many times, and staff are always friendly, but here they were exceptional.
The hotel itself is a little older than many on offer, however, the price point reflects this and it was excellent value. The hotel gave us a free room upgrade as soon as we arrived at check-in (a lovely surprise) and the 2000 baht credit note that came with the Travel Online deal paid for 4 evening meals at the resort.
The only negative for us was Kamala itself; it seemed to lack a 'heart' and the choice of restaurants and bars wasn't great,; it was all a bit 'tired/sad' (including the beach area) We took the hotel shuttle to Patong a couple of times where there was a lot more choice and vibrance.
Would we stay here again? Yes! Would we recommend it to friends? Yes!

Pretty good location away from the hustle and bustle, but not far from town.
Service was excellent.
First room we got had the bathroom flooding so they changed our room quickly. Second room was good, no problems. Rooms are basic but comfortable.
Facilities are great, swimming pools beautiful. The whole complex very close to the beach.

Could not have asked for anything more. Literally beach front, you can walk along the beach up to other resorts. 5 pools, 2 pool bars, 2 restaurants, gym, on-site massage…. I could go on!! I travel solo, so this resort was perfect for me 16 plus guests only.
Amazing cocktail list and dine in and room service menu. I was there for my birthday and was generously given a bottle of wine and a room upgrade.
All of the staff were AMAZING, I would definitely go back and stay again. I have not one bad word to say at all. Would have been nice to have a bath in room - but not a negative!!
We found Kamala Beach Resort to be one of the nicest locations we have seen in Thailand. Its location is perfect, the beach is absolutely gorgeous, beautiful sand, the water was very clean to swim in. You have everything around within close proximity that you could hope for, restaurants, Beach bars, shopping, Beach shopping, massages and fantastic beach activities. Everything is easy to walk to and get around.
The resort itself is very busy, but breakfast just seems to flow on beautifully and has a fantastic selection. Food is great, fresh and most importantly, the coffee is lovely. The rooms are so typical Thai style, old but clean and has what you need. The pools are large and very nice and kept clean. The only downer is the pools are always so busy and although they have a rule that you cannot leave your towel on the lounges before 10am, a lot of people ignore this and then once its 10am most lounges are already gone and especially the Europeans, just leave them there ALL day, even if they are not there. We spent most of our time on the beach because of this reason. Because it is a 16 + age and up resort, it makes it so much better around the breakfast areas and pools etc. We will certainly go back to this place and resort and take our older boys. It is a place that can be anything you want it to be.... Romantic, Adventurous, Family or just Lazy, it has something for everyone. We highly recommend it.
I was absolutely amazed of the high standards the resort contributed to their services and accomodations.
Everything from the daily room cleaners, service reception staff, restaurants, tour guide coordinators, mini market, swimming pool services, bars, massage parlours, resort security, transportation/ taxi coordination staff, to everything else that is thinkable, to include daily activity coordinators were all faultless.
We were overwhelmed at how professional and helpful the entire resort staff was.
If I can fault anything on the resort, I really could not think of a single item. The entire resort made us feel at home immediately upon our arrival until the end at our departure.
If I was to holiday again in Phuket, I would not have to think twice of where I would stay as in my opinion, Sunprime would be my only option.

This resort is a little dated but you can’t beat the location. It is right on Kamala Beach and a short walk to local shops and restaurants. It is a 20 minute taxi or tuk tuk to Patong. The resort is clean and well maintained. The service was excellent. Food and drinks at the resort were reasonably priced and the buffet breakfast had a wide choice of food to cater for all tastes.

Really loved our holiday here - didn't want to leave. Breakfast buffet every day was great. The rooms were all beautiful and clean, and serviced everyday. Air conditioner in the room was amazing, and much needed! The pools were all beautiful. Water aerobics was fun! Would definitely come back to stay again.
The hotel is just amazing. It has everything we wanted and more (seriously who wants not one but two gyms on a relaxing holiday lol). All of the staff were just so courteous, not just the reception and restaurant staff, but also the cleaners, room maids, pool towel hut attendants etc. The food was also amazing and the prices were very reasonable. We are definitely going to go back

Outstanding resort that had the best of everything. 4 pools, swim up bars, on the beach and the best restaurants in Thailand. Location is quiet but easily can get to everywhere and all day tours have pickup locations in Kamala. Will be back!

Far enough away from noisy party streets to relax, walk to private beach, 4 pools, good food. Buildings are a bit old, but everything was sparkling clean , resort was well maintained. Good for couples who want peace and quiet. Less than 10 minutes to beach front restaurants and shops. Not trendy, but relaxed and casual. Very friendly staff.
The pools are great and there are a lot of shops, bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. The on-site restaurant has good choices and breakfast was fantastic. Staff very helpful and friendly. Our room was a bit old and tired but the ones around it were being renovated while we were there so I guess the one we stayed in will be getting the same treatment soon. Massages on site were not very good (painful!) but there are plenty of other choices within walking distance. We would stay again.
I would recommend this resort but we probably won’t go in peak season although iam sure would be fine ,just a to busy for us .cheers
Loved how the property was ‘Adults Only’. Perfect place to escape to with your partner or a group of friends or adult family members. Great location, only a 30 minute TukTuk ride to the hustle and bustle of Patong. Walking distance to some excellent tailoring services, shops, restaurants and bars. Service from all the staff was extremely fantastic. Any hiccups, and staff are right onto it to fix the issue. Will certainly be staying there again.
Our accommodation was excellent. The location was as good as it gets we were right on the beach. The breakfasts were amazing and all the staff were brilliant. Would recommend to anyone traveling to phuket as an ideal location to stay at

Location on the beach was great but it was always a 45 minute drive to any tours. The food was good but only luke warm never hot from the kitchen. Staff were always friendly.
We spent 8 days at Kamala Beach resort, and there is really nothing negative to be said.
We receive free room upgrade on arrival, to deluxe room on 2nd floor. We choose a roon in the Beach wing fully realiding this would be the older part of the hotel. Whist the rooms are a little dated, there was nothing wrong with them
The staff are absolutely fantaddic, very friendly ssnd helpful. Breakfast was fantasic, with huge choices.

Enjoyed our 10 day stay at Sunprime Resort, well run resort right on the beach, staff lovely and friendly, buffet breakfast nice with plenty to choose from. Easy walk downtown and some nice restaurants on the beach a five minute walk. Would definately stay here again.

We loved the relaxed atmosphere at the Sunprime - everything was easy. Staff were a delight. Room was pretty good - not luxurious, but comfortable and clean. Location was great. We took two trips into nearby Patong - we were EXTREMELY pleased that we were staying at Kamala Beach rather Patong. We'd do it again.

We had a pleasent stay for the second time, it’s a relaxing resort with excellent outdoor facilities and pools. The staff are really helpful and nice, great location to Kamala shops and beach walks/ swim.
Kamala Beach Resort was the perfect getaway. Everyone at the resort was friendly and helpful and jumped into action whenever we required anything. The pools were beautiful, and the beach was a step outside the back gate. We were lucky enough to be there for Songkran and the staff put on a drum parade which had everyone in the resort smiling. The restaurant by the sea had some really delicious food as well as a killer view.
This is a great spot for couples to getaway as it's an adult only resort and is in a quieter part of the island. Would 100% recommend to friends and family. Thank you to the whole staff.
Great adults only resort. Absolute beachfront and 5 pools. Service is great and rooms are large. Breakfast buffet is huge with lots of variety. Pool restaurant has a themed buffet every night for around 700thb and beach restaurant has a la carte menu. Found the a la carte menu a bit boring but food was nice and well presented. Really needed a 'specials for the day' option. There are plenty of restaurants along the beach if you turn right at the beach entry so there are a lot of options nearby. Sunset views from the beach restaurant are to die for.

Location of the resort is perfect. Right on the beach and also close to the Main Street of Kamala. Numerous dining options - resort, beach and Kamala. Friendly staff, large rooms (we were upgraded to the Junior Suite) and clean. Plenty of resort pools to choose from and plenty of sun lounges and day beds available.

Kamala subprime beautiful location 15 mins from Patong,
We stayed at Sunprime (NO children unless older than 16yrs) however Sunwing is the adjoining resort for families. Great service, rooms & choice of 4 amazing pools, breakfast was included & provides a huge choice. Beach is located right at the front of resort, much cleaner than Patong, lovely to swim in, many restaurant choices within 100mt of resorts, great value. Resort restaurant is also good, just a little more expensive. Kamala Beach is approx 11km from Patong Beach, resort provide a shuttle service (fee applies, but cheaper than tuk tuk which is 400 BHT each way). Everything you need is available at Kamala Beach & unless you are chasing nightlife etc, you dont need to venture into Patong. The markets at Kamala have the same type of items as Patong, & the prices are actually a little cheaper & stall holders much nicer to deal with. Overall a great stay at a great resort.

Food, room service, staff and resort were all excellent.
We were upgraded and the room was very good except that it had a bath the shape of a spa bath (without jets) with the shower nozzle was attached to the side of the bath which made it very awkward to shower. We have never been in accommodation overseas or in Australia where the shower was not affixed to either the wall or ceiling, so you could stand to shower.
A small point. We like bircher muesli, which we have always had with buffet breakfasts, but their was none at the resort. Otherwise it was all good.

We enjoyed our stay at kamala beach resort (sunprime). The staff were pleasant, the food at resort was good however, I recommend beach dining. Lots of little restaurants along the beach which had fantastic cheap food. Kamala had a lot of western type restaurants for when you get a little over Thai food. Room was nice and close to beach entrance however it was along the main thoroughfare which was a little noisy at times. The 4 pools were all great and we were well placed to enjoy all 4. Great time had by all. Things to improve on: a bit more entertainment of an evening, music around pool area was too quiet.

Alot quieter and cleaner than patong, had a shuttle to get to patong if you wanted to shop but cheaper to get tuk tuk if 4 or more in party. The food was excellent and restaurants along beach clean and great value. The swimming pools a bit over heated especially travelling in april but the beach was excellent to swim in and very clean and fun waves. staff at restaurants very friendly and friday night market outside hotel very good. only downfall very limited australians or english speaking guests as quickly worked out it has been marketed heavily in russia as close to 95% of guests were russian. overall great take mosquitoe repellant lots at this resort and suncream as very expensive to buy we headed back into patong to stock up alot cheaper
We stayed at Sunprime (over 15yo) was a great resort. Pools clean and plentiful, buffet breakfast in restaurant by the sea daily, which overlooked the ocean. Food choice excellent, staff friendly and accommodating. We asked to move rooms due to the stairs and it wasn't an issue. Had a choice of dining on the beach, in kamala or at the resort which meant you weren't restricted. Definitely going back.
Had a fabulous time at this beautiful and relaxing resort. We mostly ate at the resort because the food was amazing but there are other restaurants along the beach. Ocean was beautiful, the beach was very clean. Not a place if you are looking for night life but is only a 15 minute drive by taxi, shuttle bus or Tuk Tuk to Patong. The resort is immaculate and staff once they got to know us, were charming. We are definitely staying again in fact we have only been home 24 hours and have started thinking about best dates to go in 2016.
Love Kamala staff. Only one knock would be the cable tv only has 2 english channels.

We found the staff very obliging, breakfasts good, very quiet, being in low season, plenty of room around pools,some of the areas, such as casual dining were closed. Free internet in lobby. Overall a very relaxing, holiday. Fares to Patong a bit expensive.
