Received value for money.The room we stayed in required a number of steps to be climbed.The room was clean but lacking in amenities.Would have liked a small table in the room or outside and posssibly a microwave.The staff were very friendly and accommodating.The breakfasts were delicious and just filling.But the evening dinner choice was expensive and limited in choice.The sorbets and cocktail hour were a nice and welcome touch.The place is full of history and the library and games room was lovely,homely and full of charm.

And all to the Staff, from cleaners, desk, dining, bar. They made us feel like part of a family and not just a "customer". Their attention to detail was impeccable.
The Resort itself was perfect, from the Pools, the free bicycles. fishing rods, library, chess, draughts to the details posted on the history of the Resort.
Bob Dylan stayed. I forgot to ask which Room, will certainly do next time!
For what we paid to what we got, we owe the Resort in value!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Reef House, we were made to feel very welcome and the facilities were excellent
There was so much to love - the decor, the customer service, the free gelato at 3pm and free punch hour at 5pm, the bar honesty system, the pillow menu, free yoga classes and use of bikes, and the terrific breakfasts. The hotel is in a good spot with beautiful views of the beach. We would happily go back there again.
Reef house was great staff very friendly and attentive just found drinks and food a little expensive but overall very good
We loved our stay at the Reef House - everything was on our doorstep and the main pool was amazing! We've only just gotten home and are already reminiscing fondly about our stay. Will be back.
It was a beautiful place to stay at! Palm cove is a destination for people who would like to have few days off from the city buzz. Besides the minor upgrades needed with the room and kitchenette we enjoyed our stay at the Reef house for 5 days and staff were very accomodating.
We had a terrace room that we could catch a little sun i the morning and was very conmfortable.The staff could not be more helpful and being in the centre of Palm Cove it has an ideal location
Great friendly staff and an amazing location right on the beach with a lot of shops and restaurants around and still feels removed from the city and private. It was also really easy to hire a car or book tours for the barrier reef or for ther daintree.

Amazing location, beach directly across the road. Clear blue sky and 28 degrees what more could you ask for. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and we would absolutly stay here again.
