Central to town, approx 10mins, housekeeping did a fantastic job; I would've just been happy to have fresh towels and a made bed, but they do the dishes and mop the floors and sweep the patio. Cafe Vila was our preferred restaurant for variety and consistency, Three Pigs was good as well. Rooms were lovely, we had everything we needed and more.
We didn't get a chance to kayak due to the tides, but that's ok.
Great location with its own aqua lagoon and beach area. Room was lovely with fully functional kitchenette. The 2 restaurants on site were first class and small shop was located directly across the street. Staff were helpful and friendly and overall great experience.
We had the best time! September 2024
Had a great time staff were great very friendly food was also very good
Bbq area needs work
We had a very enjoyable time and would love to go back
Staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for us.
Room had kitchen basics and there is a washing machine guests can use for free.
Comfortable beds, great shower pressure, large patios with great view.
We travelled to the resort as a family of 11. We had such a great time. Staff were so friendly and helpful. We had many delicious
Meals at the resort. We really enjoyed the pools and the private beach. We made use for the BBQ as well. Would recommend this resort!
nasama has all you need ,food great ,staff great and helpful ,
Our 1st visit to Vanuatu & we were lucky enough to stay at Nasama Resort. It's FANTASTIC. Gorgeous studio right next to the beach with air-con and cleaned everyday by Nasama's lovely team. Two brilliant restaurants on-site: Cafe Vila which is upmarket and 3 Pigs which is stuff like tacos, pizza & burgers. Prices similar to AUS and they have a happy hour in the Cafe Vila bar as well 5.30-7, beers (local Tusker which is great) 400VTU and BOGOF cocktails 1500VTU. We went many times!! Breakfast was included at Cafe Vila everyday and the food here is superb. Massive choice, highly recommend the corn fritters, croquette and coconut porridge! There is a reef just off the beach, which also has a rockpool reef for people who aren't good swimmers. Just pop on your snorkel mask, you can stand up still, not too deep, and have a look around. Very safe. It IS quite windy down there however but doesn't spoil anything. Sun loungers everywhere FYI if you just want to chill. As for location Nasama is perfect. It's 10 mins to Port Vila (just flag down any minibus with a red B numberplate, 150VTU to get into town), or hop in one of the many that wait in Nasama car park. There's also a shop across the road for essentials and reception also sell a few bits too. We arranged our own trips (highly recommend Vila Hope Tours, the Hideaway Island Escape full day trip; Hideaway Island, Waterfalls, Turtle rescue and Blue Lagoon) but reception can also arrange if you wish. Now for the best part - the STAFF. The guys at Nasama are lovely. Special shout out to Lesley who ensured everything was good always and even opened 3 Pigs early for us the day we were leaving; Sarah, & Elizabeth in the bar and at Cafe Vila. Also keep an eye out for the resort wild cats who hang out - Scratchy & Ginger! (yes I fed them!! Scratchy loves tourists, very tame). What more to say except we WILL be back! It's the BEST. Thanks Nasama team.
We enjoyed our time in Vanuatu, didn't realise it was as expensive as Australia, thought it was going to be more like Bali in terms of costs.
Great fun family holiday
Beautiful resort, clean and well maintained throughout. All staff beautiful, friendly and helpful. Room was well located overlooking the ocean and kept clean and serviced daily. All meals at Cafe Vila and Three pigs was delicious and service was 5 star. I highly recommend this resort and it was value for money for our stay. Easy bus ride into port vila or any other places on the island.
Everything about the resort was excellent. the room was perfect overlooking the beach and ocean. Plenty of room inside. Comfortable bed. fully self contained kitchen. Everything was clean and spotless. Beautiful friendly staff throughout the resort. Any request was fulfilled. Food at the 2 eating places was excellent both in taste, presentation and service. It was an easy bus ride into Port Vila. Reception able to answer any questions regarding tours etc.
We travelled last month to Nasama resort with our 1 year old and we are already planning our return. Our daughter was provided with a highchair and cot, the rooms were very clean and although we hired a car, we often took the bus which stopped directly infant of reception and took 10 minutes to get into town. Reception team members were very helpful with any questions we had. They did apologise when we checked in that the wifi was having issues, but there was never an issue. All meals at the restaurant were great and the waitresses Sarah and Gia always made us feel so welcome. Nasama is a great place to unwind, we will be back. Sally, Justin & BIndi from Australia
Everything about Nasama was really good. The rooms need a bit of modernising and air con needs attention, but overall a very comfortable stay. .
Nasama is a boutique style, self-catering resort with rooms for couples, small and larger families as well as ocean facing luxury apartments.
We were welcomed by Ashleigh who is very friendly, the consummate professional and very helpful. She was ever present throughout our stay and was every ready to cater for our needs. She is a delight!
Our room was spacious with a comfortable kitchen area. Air conditioning is available and very welcome on hot, humid nights.
A small dining table in the apartment or chairs at the kitchen counter would be useful. There is no place to sit and eat or relax in the room - the balcony is the only place where there is a table and chairs. We had to request an additional chair as only 2 were provided.
The resort is around a 4 star in quality with facilities including an attractive infinity pool and pool lounging area and a small beach area.
Given its location, the resort can be windy at times and therefore canoes (that are available for free) are often not put out for use. During our 6 day stay they were never available.
The small beach provides access to the bay. If you swim out at high tide you can swim over the reef and see the beautiful fish and coral. The many coloured starfish in bright colours are a feature.
There is a very nice BBQ area and an excellent BBQ. We would suggest this as an option for families on a tight budget as the Café Vila Restaurant is pricey.
We stayed 6 nights. Fantastic weather helped but this location was just brilliant for us. My husband and 2 teenage children found this resort suited us really well. Good for relaxing but close enough to town for easy access. Took the canoes over to Erakor island for a drink at the bar.We had a mixture of meals cooked in the apartment (food bought from the local supermarket) and ate out too. Cooking facilities were basic but ok. Ate on the balcony over looking the ocean.
Beautiful resort, great location, great snorkelling just off the beach. Fantastic food. The Captains Table is a must.
The resort was small but perfect for us, the staff were fantastic (Will, the bartender was sensational).
The 2 bedroom apartment was spacious and comfortable. The pool wasn’t heated and we went in August so a little chilly. Close to town and overall great fun.
Very good option for travellers wanting to have the option of self-catering some of their meals.
Relaxing, quiet, very friendly staff but the location was a bit windy compared to the other side of Port Vila. Plenty of activities in and around Port Vila. Loved the mini buses
Had a great week here the staff were awesome the location central to everything was so quiet and relaxing we will be back for sure having a kitchen was awesome as we could cook on the nights the kids were to tired to eat out
I stayed at Nasama Resort for eight nights around Easter 2016. The rooms were very well presented and the price was right. Having access to the pool and to the ocean was wonderful. The resort is close enough to town for getting one of the local buses but far enough out to give you peace and tranquility.
I ate every night in the resort restaurant. Food and cocktails were great and very well priced. The staff were wonderful. Like the citizens of Vanuatu they were friendly and helpful.'
As a solo female traveller I felt welcomed and safe. I have now booked to return over Christmas. Lastly, if you are gluten-free as I am, I took a loaf of bread with me for making breakfast in the small kitchenette. This was a wise decision as I didn't see any Gluten Free bread during my stay.
A short bus trip from Port Vila, costs 150VT per person to travel to town. The resort is out of the hustle and bustle of town. Bring your own snorkelling gear. Lovely cool breeze coming off the water.
Most of us got a tummy virus while we were there. Only problem in Vanuatu is the food. Not much variety for children and the food is not the best. Everything else was perfect. Nasama resort is beautiful.
We had a great stay at Nasama Resort, the staff were very friendly and helpful. We stayed in an oceanfront apartment which was very nice. Food in restaurant was very good. Only negative would be that we found it to be quite windy - at least a warm wind blowing though! - unlike at home. Thanks so much for your hospitality. We will be back to visit the lovely island of Vanuatu. :)
