Situated just 15 minutes from the Cairns CBD and less than an hour south of Port Douglas, Skyrail Rainforest Cableway can be accessed via the Smithfield Terminal on the corner of the Cook Highway and Cairns Western Arterial Road and offers easy self-drive options as well as convenient coach transfer services to both the Port Douglas and Smithfield terminals. Spanning 7.5kms over the spectacular rainforest, a one-way journey on the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway takes approximately an hour and a half to complete while a return journey takes approximately 2 and a half hours in total.
