Coral Sea Marina Resort Reviews

We have been going to the Corals Sea Resort since the mid 90's.
It wasn't that flash back then, in the early 2000's had a large redevelopment which become much better.
But, I was pleasantly surprise for the latest transformation...its better that ever.
We had a fantastic time, Staff, Food and Facilities were First Class...
The weather also put up a show during our stay. Just beautiful.
We just have one problem with the Resort...we need to come back again, soon I hope.

You are definitely paying for the location. The hotel is at the Coral Sea Marina straight at the edge of the ocean. It is a great location for marina access.
The pool and facilities around it are great.
We had an ocean view twin room. The room is nice and spacious and the view is amazing, but the room needs a bit of renovation, as the basin in the bathroom had cracks all over.
The down side is that there is a loud music playing at the restaurant from 6.30 am! till 10pm, which is very annoying.
We had a buffet breakfast included in our rate. The breakfast was just ok. It has a very poor selection of foods for a four star hotel. Omelet was for extra money, no cheese or ham at all. The bread was not fresh and there were only 2 types of croissants. I would recommend to have breakfast elsewhere.
Generally speaking I think $350 per room per night is overpriced for what it is.

Room is cleaned regularly with clean sheets and towels daily. Toiletries refreshed daily.
Little strange that a washing machine is provided in the kitchen where a dishwasher should be. Would be better if the unit was provided with a dishwasher and clothes dryer.

Within the resort, you'll find the best healthy breakfast, helpful staff, large room with all amenities & refreshments. Large, clean pool & a short walk to lagoon, shops & restaurants. Best location & views.

We had a fabulous time at Coral Sea Resort, the location was perfect for the best views of the Whitsundays! Our room was beautiful and all staff were very attentive. Andrea from the tour desk was wonderful in pointing out some of the activities we should try and booked everything for us. My only small criticism would be the mattress on our bed was not comfortable at all, way too soft and needed replacing. Other than this small issue we had a perfect holiday!

This resort was the perfect place to stay in Airlie Beach. Awesome spa suite with amazing views. Close enough to walk easily to either Abell Mariner or the Main Street in Airlie but far enough away to hear the night life just faintly in the distance, which was rather pleasant. Evening meals in the restaurant were sensational!

A week at the coral sea resort was paradise, we stayed in a coral sea spa suite, the spa was very small, but apart from that the room was clean and it is in the best location! The double hammock on the balcony is divine and the bed was super comfy. It was so close to walk to the main street, loved our stay!

Wonderful accommodation providing beautiful panoramic views, superior comfort as well as being practical and highly functional. Coral Sea Resort leaves you feeling relaxed, energised and pampered.

I loved staying at the Coral Sea Resort- the place and the service are outstanding. Everything is lovely yet unpretentious so it is very relaxing...

we recently stayed at coral sea resort over new years and it was great! best location only 5 minute walk to the lagoon and main shops!

My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon. It was the perfect week!

They have the friendliest staff we have ever come across. We also had the perfect room with superb views (Coral Sea Spa Suite), beautiful pool and garden area, and a lovely restaurant with great food and wonderful setting. And the croissants in the tropical breakfast are amazing!

We are already planning our next trip back!!

This package had it all! We loved having a private car and enjoyed all the cruises/dinners we received also. We were so thankful to be upgraded to the penthouse as well - it had an amazing view and we were so appreciative of being able to stay there for 5 nights. The pool was enjoyable and the housekeeping did a very good job in cleaning our rooms every morning.

Definitely would recommend any couple to visit the resort, or even families too - there are many things kids would love such as the free in-house movies, the kid pool and a shopping centre nearby with a lagoon that was very popular with the community.

Great place right on the water & only short walk to the marina as well as the shopping strip. (no hills!!)
Great view from balcony & loved the outdoor spa and hammock.
