Fiji Marriott Resort Momi Bay Reviews

Exceptional place to rest, play and enjoy service and food, everything that we ate was amazing, and staff and cooks showed care and were more then happy to cook for special dietary requirements. I want to give big shout-out to the Goji Kitchen crew, they were the best and for amazing dinner experience at the Fish Bar. Big thanks to Fifita and Marcus

The best part of the holiday was definitely the lagoon bures we absolutely could not fault the accommodation. The adults pool and Fish bar was excellent. What we didn't like is the main pool was outdated and looking old, it needs to revamping. The pizza pasta restaurant and main buffet restaurant was average in food and slow service.

Had an amazing holiday above and beyond my expectations.
All staff went above and beyond, made the effort to know us by name, friendly, helpful and welcoming from arrival to departure.
The room was clean, spacious, comfortable beds and the staff providing room service checked in 3 times a day to clean, give chocolates and cookies and see if they could do anything else.
The pools were relaxing and I had spa treatments that were well worth the price.
Beautiful resort it was hard to leave, would definitely go back

We stayed in Lagoon Bure and couldn't fault it. Straight out the room into the lagoon. Food was great. Service was great. Couldn't ask for a better resort.

Staff for the most part were very accommodating.

Rooms are very nice, good air conditioning, food is great, staff were very friendly, welcoming and happy to help. Resort very beautiful and has pretty much everything you need as well as a small shop.

Beautiful resort and lovely friendly staff.
Only downside is the cost of the food/beverages. No restaurants close by to the resort so you are somewhat restricted to eating there.
Overall a wonderful location. The beachside ‘bures’ are amazing

Such a great trip for our honeymoon. Nothing was an issue for staff. Room was great and all dining and beverage places were very well maintained and efficient.

I had a wonderful time at this resort. Everyone was amazing. It felt like that Cheers TV show back in the 80's and 90's where everyone knew your name. Everyone that worked there called me by my name even if I didn't recognize meeting them before. It was a nice touch. It was my first time in Fiji and it didn't disappoint. The resort was beautiful in my opinion. My end goal was to go there and just relax, play by ear and do whatever I wanted to do at the time, no scheduling, no nothing. That's the kind of vacation approach I took especially since I went solo. The only drawback which is beyond anyones control was during the time I went, there was 3 days of sunshine, 5 days of rain. I still came out on top IMO because forecast said rain the whole time I was there. Anyways, hope this quick review gives you guys some perspective on what to expect from my experience. I'd definitely visit again. I stayed on the resort my whole stay. That was my end goal.

Always felt welcome and relaxed. Loved the whole time we spent there.

This is an amazing resort, world class. Food is exceptional for Fiji. The buildings and layout are great. Downside is limited swimming and snorkelling as most is man made lagoons. Service is amazing, no such thing as 'Fiji time' here. Close to Denarau and airport, so easy commute.

From the BULA!!! on arrival to our farewell wishes of safe travels home our experience in this amazing resort was absolutely faultless. Being our third visit to Fiji it was hands down the best resort facilities by far that we have had the pleasure of staying at.

We were fortunate to experience a few different levels of accomodation and personally don’t think you can go past the on lagoon villas. Located right on the lagoon, a combination of crystal clear warm water, immaculate accomodation/surroundings and the convenience of being within walking distance to all of the facilities it is the place to be.

We travelled as a couple this trip and although surrounded by families the adult only pool and bar was extremely relaxing. We will not hesitate visiting this resort with our children in the future, it has been very well planned and really is suitable for singles, couples wanting privacy or families in general.

Options for dining were aplenty. With a choice of 3 restaurants, a snack at the lagoon bar or in room dining facilitation, trust me when I say we tried them all & every meal was exceptional. A highlight was the very talented band for evening entertainment in the lagoon bar they will have you moving in your seat or up on the floor dancing.

Fijians are known for their warm hospitality and the staff of the ‘Marriott Momi Bay’ did not disappoint. Dealing with reception was super easy, we had an impromptu upgrade request and they were more then accomadating in fulfilling that request. We came across some characters along the way but a few standouts were John in dining, Izzy whether in concierge or driving you around in a buggy (he took delight in telling us it is the best place he has ever worked) or the beautiful Sainimilli in housekeeping ( she can make a swan towel presentation like you have never seen).
I have been asked countless times since coming home how was our holiday and my caption is exactly what I tell them ‘BEST HOLIDAY EVER’
Would definatley recommend a holiday at this resort and I cannot wait to return!!

The Marriott was an excellent hotel to stay at in Fiji. Great rooms, staff, facilities, activities and the view!! Would not stay anywhere else.

Wow!! This place exceeded our expectations. Thank you to Silvano and his team of beautiful Fijian people. The staff...the activity consultants... kids club.. food! I can really go on forever.
This has officially become our holiday stop for a very long time.

We loved staying at the Marriott Momi Bay Fiji. The resort is beautiful with a gorgeous lagoon, landscaping and sunsets.
Without exception, the staff is really friendly and all displaying Fiji’s Bula smile. The resort manager makes sure he personally says hi to each guest. The staff organise lots of activities (from fire dancing demonstrations to pool games; from Fijian culture to fish feeding) which you can join if you wish.
We stayed in a standard hotel room which was luxurious and well stocked. The five restaurants/bars offer good food at western prices.
We booked a few activities via the travel desk and a snorkeling tour and jetski trip via the watersports desk. Both provided good service.

This was one of the best places that i have ever stayed at. The resort staff were so helpful and friendly. Do your self a favour and book!

It was great to stay in a near new resort. The rooms were will appointed and stylish and all needs were met. The food options were numerous from relaxed to more top quality restaurant food at the Fish Bar. The service was exceptional in all areas and the staff went out of their way to ensure we enjoyed our stay. It was great to also have numerous options in regards to swimming with an adults only infinity pool, general pool with a swim up bar, kids pool and the salt water lagoon. Overall a lovely, relaxing stay.

A wonderful experience

I loved the Fiji Marriott Resort Bay. We only had a short stay but we felt completely relaxed, the resort is beautiful, the lagoon bure we had was private and luxurious perfect for a couple. The resort is brand new, so we felt that the dining experience was lovely but a little slow, somethings just never came out! But overall that didn't damper anything, we would definitely go back again.

Loved our 6 day stay at momi bay. The staff were amazing! Nothing was too much trouble for them and always happy...the resort and accommodation was fabulous. We thankyou all for our wonderful holiday.
