We honeymooned here and were so happy with resort. The nature walk in particular with Brett was so insightful - we saw birds nesting, ulysses butterfly, Cairns Birdwing butterfly, lace monitors, snakes and sea turtles from the lookout. A short drive from Port Douglas, it was nice to stay somewhere private and secluded, not in the town. Hardly saw other guests, and no noisy kids, though it was during school holidays. Would definitely book a return in the future.

As I am a vegetarian I found the fixed menu for dinner very limiting. I suggest there should be at least 2 perhaps 3 options on the menu for vegetarians, particularly when you are staying 4 nights. Vegetarians should not have to request that the chef prepares special vegetarian meals. I also suggest that the option of a lighter cereal/continental breakfast be available to guests in addition to the buffet breakfast as a lighter breakfast is preferable in the summer months.

Excellent place to recharge your batteries. Great bungalow cabins ,well decked out , clean & comfortable , dining excellent although menu could be more diversified, my wife loved the walks (,although my calf muscles are still sore.) A Great hidden Paradise !
