Phuket Orchid Resort & Spa Reviews

Swimming facilities are great for the kids, location is also good with beach, shopping, food and restaurants all within walking distance. Room was quite small and basic compared to others we have stayed at.

We had a fantastic time at Phuket Orchid Resort. Upon arrival rooms were a little dated but quite spacious.
Nicely positioned with everything you need externally within an easy 5min walk.
Service and staff were exceptional very friendly. Food and drinks were above average.
Karon is a great location. We would definitely return for our next holiday.

Our second stay here. Perfect for families. Waterslides in the resort great for kids or big kids. Beautiful large pools. Resort across from beach and supermarket across the road. Great value for money. 

Service was fantastic, we had a few room issues and were resolved very promptly.

Great and helpful staff

A lovely resort perfect for families. Kids loved the water slides and made lots of Aussie friends. It would be nice to have a couch and toaster in the rooms but other than that the rooms were good. However, the water temp/pressure in the showers needs improving. Right outside are markets, bars, mini marts, restaurants, beach so a good location. Central to access Kata, Phuket, Patong. 1 hour drive to the airport.

Great family place to stay good location and friendly helpful staff

Phuket orchid was in a great location, walking distance to pharmacies, convenient stores and markets. Kids had a great time on the water slides.

VERY GOOD RESORT FOR FAMILES THE STAFF WERE VERY FRIENDLY AND MADE US MOST WELCOME. CLOSE TO THE BEACH AND OTHER AMMENDITIES.

We traveled with our 4 children, and with 2 other couples and we all enjoyed our stay.
The rooms and facilities were satisfactory. My only complaints would be minor as far as the rooms were concerned. The rooms were clean and linen looked and felt fresh.
The American breakfast was great and the pool and slides kept all of our family entertained throughout our stay.
My greatest complements would go to the staff. They were friendly, polite and did an amazing job, going out of their way for us where possible. Hats off guys!!

The resort facilities pool and waterslide popular of course with kids and big adults !

Room was a little disappointing and dated compared to our stay at the Graceland resort.

Room service well maintained. Felt Kata area was very different from Patong stretch, more quieter depends what you looking for.

The resort is fantastic. The room was clean and spacious even with the extra bed. The water slides are great fun for young and old!! Plenty of choices at breakfast and the pool service is great.

Top place, great water attractions..

The room cleaners were a bite light on leaving sugar for tea and coffee and only 1 roll of toilet paper no spears. The wifi was great, There was no variety in the breakfast menu.

Nice resort, our kids loved the slides however the opening hours could have been longer. The room services were ok but not great.

Nothing short of spectacular , Thailand , the talk is all true, the staff were fantastic I would recommend it as my first choice for a resort holiday !!! The staff were ,polite, courteous and went out of there way to accommodate any issues if/& ( not that we're any :) , or questions that we may have had ,they made us feel like part of there family, treated us like we were Thai citizens .we hold this resort in extremely ,the highest regard. To anybody thinking of going to this resort or going to Thailand anywhere , pick up your passport and, GO :)

The staff at the Phuket Orchid were friendly and helpful. Rooms are a little dated. Specially the TV and Wi-Fi System but overall a lovely stay. Breakfast was outstanding and the hotel restaurant had a theme night which was wonderful friendly atmosphere. Karon Beach local where extremely friendly and a pleasure to talk to.

Lovely place, great rooms, great for kids, close to beach. Only downfall being in Karon not too close to the shops for good shopping. But if I just want a few shops the beach and a place to relaxe it's perfect.

We stayed at the Phuket Orchid for our second time in Sept 2014. It is a reasonably priced resort, that has three pools including a small but fun pool for the smallest of children. Rooms are clean and functional but they are not luxurious (Ask for poolside rooms). The location is about 50metres walk from Karon Beach and a short walk or tuk tuk ride to Kata Beach. Patong is about a 10 minute drive away.
Karon Beach has more of a family friendly feel to it.

We had the most relaxing and beautiful time at Orchid Resort. We loved the staff, the gardens (appreciate how much work must go into such beautiful surroundings at Orchid resort!) and we enjoyed every day we were there. The staff were all very lovely and welcoming.

A clean and well-appointed resort.

What a lovely place,centrally located across the road from Karon Beach,Tuk Tuk service right out the front as well as friendly convenience stores and restaurants ,massage stores in the same street.Pools are lovely and well maintained,swim up bars were great too,room service was prompt and rooms cleaned everyday if you wish(they even brush off and line up your shoes in a neat row! haha) Buffet breakfast was yummy,very friendly and accommodating staff,they love the kids! wifi available at a small cost,rooms were a little dated but lovely and authentic all the same.My only negative was how hard the bed was,it took a few nights to get used to it for me but my husband loved it.We stayed in a pool access room with an inter connecting room for the kids and we loved it.Mr Boon the thin man with the big white glasses is the safest Tuk Tuk driver around and lovely to boot make sure you request him out the front.You will get to see all the lovely little places as well that he will show you if you wish!
