Breakfree Alexandra Beach Reviews

Our room was adequate, but there is definitely a problem with the step into the shower. In fact it is a safety problem that should be addressed. To expect people to step into a spa bath to shower is ridiculous. Particularly when they are over 70 years old. Poor show!
When I booked I specifically asked for two rooms side by side. They tell me there were non available. They had a right to contact me and advise me of this. We had visitors from the UK and if they were not able to meet my request they should have advised us so we could go elsewhere

We had a fantastic time staying here. Sunrise from our balcony was amazing. Loved the pool. Just would have loved a cocktail in the pool. Looks like the cafe once served you in the pool but doesn't any longer. Will be back

We are interested in going again next year at the same price.

The hotel is an older property but well maintained and in a good location across the road from the beach and surf club. The room was smallish but adequate. The bathroom was a little dated but well maintained. Service at the front desk was good. The pool looked nice but the weather was a bit too cold for swimming. Car parking was easy and plentiful. Overall good value for money and very happy with our stay.

Breakfree Alexander Beach offers good quality accommodation and is well located close to Surf Club and Restaurants. Staff are excellent with nothing being too much trouble and only willing to help.

This is the second time we have stayed at this property. Great location, easy access to shops and beach across the road, and value for money.

Well located, good dining options,. The room had all you needed to be self sufficient. Laundry facilities, cooking facilities. Walk out balcony was great.

I want to go back again!!!..

Pleasant, easy and most importantly, clean

A perfect place to enjoy a weekend get away, the room was clean, comfortable and well appointed.
The pool was delightful and the location central to everything.

Room was nice and clean, very central to what we wanted. If an older person booked that room may have trouble getting into the shower as it was high and very deep to step into.

The scenery and the location is great, the service was great :D would love to go back there again

Room was nice and comfortable for us! I asked if i was able to stay on the ground floor and they gave me the room i wanted was very impressed.

2nd time here, this time without the kids!. for us a great, and not too busy a location. minor needs would be salt/pepper shakers and some herbal tea supplied to the units. bonus breaky was a nice touch. Thank you for a GREAT stay

We had an excellent 5 day break at Alex Heads. The hotel was great - fabulous pool, good facilities, rooms reasonably modern, lovely views, excellent location.

The 150m pool make this hotel ideal for families. Definitely book a pool view room because you'll also get ocean views from the upper levels.

My wife and I really wanted to get away from our usual hectic life and BreakFree Alexandra Beach gave us just the break we were looking for. Close to the beach, shops, restaurants and all of the wonderful things the Sunshine Coast has to offer. By the way, BreakFree has the best swimming facilities of any resort we have holidayed at. Great place to be!!

Location is perfect. Pool and bbq area are great for families. Alexandra headland 2 minutes walk just pray for a swell. Rooms are quite old but when balanced against the price whos complaining.

Living in Brisbane allows us to make the most of both the Sunshine and Gold coasts! So lilttle getaways is something we do a lot.
We found this place out of luck really and was so pleased we did.
Apartments are well maintained and had heaps of room! Perfect for families. The pools was the main high light for us because they were heated, and the slides!! The kids loved this!
Is a place we would return too for sure.
