Great Location however only suitable for fit people who are able to climb a lot of stairs in high humidity. Private beach which was really nice and relaxing. Room was a little tired, needing some TLC such as leaking taps, lights not working, but service on the whole was great, lunch and dinner was wonderful with lots of choices, breakfast had limited variety and was basically the same everyday.
I did book into the Spa at the hotel which was lovely and had a lot of choice of treatments available.
the pools and facilities were absolutely stunning, service was excellent and overall such a good week in paradise
Spoil yourself with a quiet, peaceful location, facilities and wonderful staff. Thank you Centara and we will be back asap!
Lovely resort, great service and food, we had a private pool villa which was terrific! View is lovely and the beach and pools were terrific. It's quite isolated and lots of steps..... A shuttle service was kindly provided.
CentaraVillas Samui is a very peaceful beautiful place that I would definitely visit again
We loved our stay at Centara Villas. As described in other reviews, the location is away from the busy areas on its own beautiful private beach, but you can easily catch the shuttle into Lamai or Chaweng (AUD$2 or $4pp). The staff are very friendly, the buffet breakfast is excellent, and the other food & beverage available is very good. You can also walk to the local Cool Bar down the beach and restaurants in the nearby village for cheaper Thai options. We didn't get 2 adjacent villas as requested, but it felt safe enough for our teenage girls to be not right next door. Would highly recommend.
Fabulous break at a great resort- lots of steps so if mobility is a challenge then wouldn't recommend but if not - beautiful and quiet - private beach, wonderful staff, great food and service in the hotel. Nearby restaurants if a change needed just a short and beautiful walk along the beach. Highly recommended- would go back again in a flash!
Comfortable villas, very tired and need of renovation. Had to scale 124 stairs to get to and from restaurants bars pools and beach, therefore do not recommend this resort for elderly, families or people with limited mobility. Food was good, restaurant and bar service was excellent. Front counter service was terrible, left to wait at check in for 2 hours with no complimentary drink offered. Check out was not very efficient either with the phone to counter not working. The Baht Bonanza was worthwhile.
Had a relaxing holiday at the resort with options to dine at nearby restaurants. The resort offers a 30 minute shuttle bus to near by town for retail therapy, but best of all enjoyed the private beach location at the resort away from the maddening crowds.
Great holiday and location if you just want to chill out and relax. It's a bit remote if you want more action, more places to eat etc, but for us it was perfect.
Yes an extremely lovely resort. Would highly recommend this place to everyone.
