If you are looking for a getaway to soothe your soul, refresh & unwind then this is for you. I will preface this review by stating that the facilities are a little outdated & need a refresh but this does not take away from the experience unless you are expecting 5 star.
Food is fantastic & honestly did not have one bad meal & there was always enough for seconds if you wanted.
The staff were amazing & polite and would go out of there way to help you.
I stayed in the Sunset Wing & as the name suggests every afternoon you could sit on your balcony & watch the amazing sunset.
The bed was super comfy, plenty of hot water & the room was clean.
Would definitely recommend & will be returning.
The only negative is more a Fiji thing than a Beachcomber Island thing & that is the price of drinks. I spent a lot of my money on drinks & did not drink excessively as I had my duty free grog.
Great family holiday at Beachcomber! Probably suits backpackers a bit more. I was dissapointed that we couldnt just borrow or hire snorkelling gear at our leisure! We had to wait for the snorkelling trip at 10:30 or 2pm which was only 20 mins in the water!! Besides that the staff were great! Food was good for buffet style but a menu offer would be good also..?
My family loved the place all round as the location was breathtaking! Perfect weather! Great holiday!
We had an amazing holiday and got married on the beach!
The staff were super friendly and went out of their way to please us.
How great it was to see them all smiling and saying BULA (hello) everywhere we went.
Our beachfront hut (Bure) was fairly basic but it had air conditioning, fridge and a (cold) shower.
With the beach only 10m from our doorstep, we loved it!
The food was nothing spectacular but perfectly OK and plenty of it.
If you don't expect 5-star then you will not be disappointed.
