Accommodation at Barefoot Manta Island Resort features stand-alone beachfront Bures, each with ceiling fans, private decks and open air ensuite bathrooms with outdoor showers. Take in the sea breeze by relaxing on your own hammock. The Beachfront Queen Bures and Beachfront Large Bures are constructed with canvas walls for a unique glamping style experience. Escape everyday life and the distraction of TV and mobile phones - the bures do not have televisions or internet reception, however free WiFi is available at the restaurant and bar area.
Named after the Manta Rays that visit a channel of water at the resort's northern tip between April and October, Barefoot Manta Island Resort offers unforgettable snorkelling right off the beach. Grab a kayak or stand up paddle board to discover the reef from the water`s surface, take a dive at one of the 40 dive sites or explore the island on a guided Fijian medicine walk. Barefoot Manta Island Resort is also home to a Marine Conservation Centre with an in-house Marine Biologist sharing presentations on the resort`s ongoing conservation programs including Manta Ray research and coral regeneration. Beachfront Queen Bure: Features a hammock, spacious deck, an open air bathroom with outdoor shower, private beach access and constructed with canvas walls. Room size is 24m². Bedding is 1 Queen Bed. Maximum room capacity is 2 Adults.
Beachfront Large Bure: Great for families, these bures lead onto an idyllic white sand beach and features a private garden with hammock, an open air bathroom with outdoor shower, private deck and constructed with canvas walls and roof. Room size is 34m². Bedding is 1 Queen Bed. An extra adult can be accommodated on a single couch bed or children can be accommodated on bunk beds. Maximum room capacity is 3 Adults OR 2 Adults & 3 Children.
Beachfront Island Bure: Located on the Sunrise and Sunset beaches, these rooms are ideal for couples and families and feature a open air bathroom with outdoor shower. Room size is 25m². Bedding is 1 Queen Bed. An extra adult can be accommodated on a single bed or children can be accommodated on bunk beds. Maximum room capacity is 3 Adults OR 2 Adults & 2 Children.
A compulsory daily meal plan includes breakfast, lunch and dinner. Meals feature delicious ingredients sourced locally from the Yasawa Islands including sustainable fresh fish. Fruit and vegetables are grown in the resort's own garden and used in dishes for a true Fijian flavour.
Eco-conscious Barefoot Manta Island Resort are reducing the use of plastics, therefore do not offer straws for beverages and request guests to not bring bottled water to the resort. Desalinated drining water is available 24 hours from the bar and restaurant area.

The Barefoot Manta Island Resort dive operation is an official SSI (Scuba Schools International) member and PADI certification is recognised. Introductory and Certified dives are available to a possible 40+ dive sites surrounding Barefoot Manta Island Resort, featuring swim-throughs, caves, coral gardens, pinnacles as well as night dives.
Barefoot Manta Island Resort is accessible by boat transfer from Port Denarau, taking approximately 3 hours. The scenic transfers travel through the Mamanuca Islands before arriving at the Yasawa Islands.
Children: up to 2 kids 0-12 years stay free in applicable bures. Additional children are charged the extra person rate.
