Jetstar is a low cost airline servicing Australia, New Zealand and the Asia Pacific region. Australia's third largest domestic airline, Jetstar is also the fifth largest international airline. Jetstar flights operate 850 return services to 18 domestic destinations and approximately 200 return airfares to international destinations each week. The Australian and New Zealand Jetstar fleet features 65 aircraft, mainly the Airbus A320-200, Airbus A321 and Airbus A330-200.

Carry On
Starter Fares are allowed one main item of carry-on and an additional smaller item, with a total weight of no more than 10kg combined. Passengers for Jetstar Pacific flights (BL) are allowed a total weight of no more than 7kg combined. Passengers for Business Class are allowed two main items of carry-on, as long as each weighs no more than 10kg, with a total of up to 20kg of carry-on combined. Additional smaller items include -

Checked Baggage
Starter fares are able to choose 15kg to 40kg of checked baggage in 5kg increments, per passenger, per flight. Business Class fares include 20kg of carry-on baggage and 30kg of checked baggage however If you require more, you can purchase up to 40kg (10kg extra) of checked baggage per passenger, per flight. Purchasing baggage allowance at the time of booking is the cheapest, with fees applying when purchased over the phone or at the airport.
Oversized & Fragile Items
Oversized items, sporting equipment and musical instruments can be included as part of your checked baggage where space allows. Size restrictions differ depending on aircraft so if your journey includes multiple flights on two or more aircraft, the lesser of the limit applies.
