Dubbo Airport is a regional airport that serves the New South Wales town of Dubbo. Also known as the Dubbo City Regional Airport, the airport is located approximately 5km or a $20 taxi ride northwest of Dubbo's city centre. The airport is not restricted by a curfew and is in operation 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year. Servicing approximately 171,739 passengers annually and around 152 commercial flights per week, the airport is home to 5 taxiways with a sixth to be completed shortly in the new General Aviation Precinct.
There are a number of Australian airlines that service Dubbo Airport including QantasLink which operates flights to Sydney in partnership with Eastern Australia Airlines and Regional Express which operates flights to Broken Hill and Sydney. The airport is also home to a convenient café and bar which offers takeaway refreshments, hot and cold drinks, eat in meals and a range of spirits, wine and beers from the fully licensed bar. A number of ATMs are also located throughout the terminal with internet access available both at the internet kiosk and through a WiFi connection at the café.
The Dubbo Airport is home to a number of transport options including a taxi rank right outside the terminal serviced by Dubbo Radio Cabs Co-op. There are also a number of car rental companies located inside the terminal including Avis, Thrifty, Budget, Hertz and Country Care Hire. For those who prefer to transport themselves to and from the airport, Dubbo Airport is also home to short and long term parking options.
Short term parking is complimentary and although regular security patrols and a CCTV system monitors the car park, the airport cannot guarantee the safety of your vehicle. If you're willing to pay a little for the sake of security, the long term car park offers a secure and fully automated service 7 days a week with 89 car and motorbike spaces, a 2.4m perimeter fence, security patrols and CCTV surveillance for just $9 a day or $54 a week.
