Getting to Sanctuary Cove by car is an easy drive on the Pacific Motorway heading south from Brisbane. From the M1 take exit 57 and follow Hope Island Road into Santa Barbara Road and follow the signs into The Marine Village and Sanctuary Cove. To get to Sanctuary Cove from Southport, follow Oxley Drive and Broadwater Avenue then turn onto Hope Island Road and follow the signs.
If you're visiting from overseas or interstate and will be flying into the Gold Coast Airport, Sanctuary Cove is just over half an hour's drive along the Pacific Motorway. There are a number of carriers that service the Gold Coast Airport directly including Jetstar, Virgin Australia, Tiger Airways and Air New Zealand.
On arrival, the information desk can assist you with all your ongoing transport needs including transfers, shuttles, car hire and taxis. A shuttle service operates from the airport offering door-to-door pick up and drop off at nearby Sanctuary Cove accommodation. For a more affordable option, there are also a number of local bus services that depart the airport for Sanctuary Cove.
For a minimum of fuss, taxis are available from outside the terminal and can take you to your accommodation as well as anywhere else you might want to go. If you wish to have your own transport while visiting Sanctuary Cove, car hire is also available from the terminal.
