Absolutely lovely place to stay, will not go elsewhere. beautiful rooms, comfy beds, lovely staff, best place to spend my 50th birthday celebrations.
Very clean and well kept hotel. Good facilities.
Buffet breakfast at voyager not very delicious, however, afternoon happy hour food offering very good
My wife, son and I stayed at outrigger reef between 30 June and 10 July. The room was large, had nice new carpet and pictures on wall of Hawaii history. It had 2 big screen TVs and a nice new bathroom. Very happy with room.
The room was cleaned daily. Joanna did a great job. Cleaned the room in the morning each day when we were out. The room cleaning is so much better than anything we have seen at Australian accommodation for many years.
We arrived at checkin at 6.00 in the morning. The lady at reception found a room for us straight away which was a real relief as we were pretty tired.
The hotel is on the beach. In the water out the front lives 5 turtles, 2 seals and some colorful fish. You can see them from jetty out the front or get in the water and swim with them. A couple of the turtles are huge. One has magnificent colors. Absolute gold.
The pool is a bit on the small side like many in Hawaii. No good for lap swimmers.
We ate at Monkeypod one night. The main attraction is that It has magnificent views if you are in front tables. Unfortunately we were out the back even though we booked in advance. Looked like people were coming in off street and getting premium tables. Maybe we should have fought harder.
We booked Voyager 47 Club rooms. That gave us breakfast and afternoon tea daily without any further fee. The breakfast was average. Danishes were good, scrambled eggs, potuguese sausage, bacon, croissants, juice, coffee, chocolate milk, fruit salad. You would be paying around $9 for juice outside so getting it as part of your accommodation works out really well. Afternoon tea was brilliant between 4.0 and 6.30. Included choice of 2 cocktail's a day, beer, wine, juice and soft drink. Food was also excellent. Samosas, dim sims, spring rolls, fish, pasta, biscuits, lemongrass chicken. My wife was having 4 cocktails a day. The ocean view from the club was magnificent. Especially front tables which you had to get there right on time for. We saw turtles, seals, catamarans from up there.
Overall very happy with resort
We stayed in an ocean front club access room which made the holiday experience even better with views of the beach watching the turtles swimming and visits from a seal.
The club access to full breakfast, cocktails and canapés in the evening helped save lots of $$ from eating out for two adults and two kids. Will be back for sure!
Would recommend. Great rooms
Hotel staff were very friendly, welcoming and accommodating.
Accommodation and general hotel facilities were great, including servicing of rooms.
Great location being on the beach and close to major shopping centers and restaurants, etc.
This is the second time we’ve stayed at the Outrigger Reef, it’s right on the beach and walking distance to shops, restaurants and bars. The staff are super friendly and always helpful, looking forward to staying here again soon.
We loved having breakfast at the beach side bar and pre-dinner drinks.
We all had a fantastic time
Great place!
Fantastic service, fantastic location with breathtaking views. Highly recommend the club lounge.
Lovely 6 nights in a fabulous hotel. Staff are amazing. Enjoyed swimming with turtles off the beach at the front. Thoroughly recommended.
We stayed 10 days at the Outrigger Reef Hotel at Waikiki and were blown away at how fast and friendly the service was. As we based our holiday around the hotel it made the whole trip a joy the location is great just a short walk to restaurants and bars , shops ,the zoo and the trolley stop is just on the road outside the hotel. You can book all your tours from down in the lobby and save % on them from staying at the hotel and a rental car on site and get a hotel saving on that too. All in all food, room, service is 10 out of 10 - will be back for sure !
Great location. Nice pool area with shade. Rooms very clean. Friendly, helpful staff.
The Outrigger Reef was a great place to stay. We have 2 young girls and it was perfect for us and them. The pool and location right on the beach was ideal! The one bedroom ocean view room (we had a corner one) was very spacious with an impressive 3 balconies. The food was of average quality for the price and service not fantastic, but who cares when there are so many other choices within close proximity. I would definitely recommend this hotel without question, especially for families.
Friendly staff, great rooms and in a great location.
The room was very comfortable and spacious and the balcony was a bonus.
This hotel is in the perfect location; right on the beach and walking distance to shops, restaurants and bars. The rooms are well appointed and large: we had a city view room which was a nice outlook by day and night. The staff are very friendly and always willing to assist. The hotel has 3 restaurants which are all well worth a try. You even get to cook your own dinner at the Shore Bird Restaurant. This restaurant is also perfect for breakfast and lunch as it overlooks the beach. I would highly recommend this hotel and would consider staying there again if ever visiting Hawaii again.
Staff were eager to help, attend to requests. Restaurant choices just right. An all round great hotel and location.
