The Living Reef is a man-made coral lagoon at Daydream Island Resort. Wrapping over 200m around the central resort building, the Living Reef lagoon holds an impressive 1.5 million litres of water that is home to an abundance of marine life including sting ray, starfish, sea cucumbers and shake fins. It holds over 100 species of marine life and includes above-ground lagoon pools as well as an underwater observatory. Experience the stingrays, fish feeding and even snorkel in the lagoon on one of the many paid activities. Learn about the reef and marine life at the Education Centre which also features an interactive touch pool.
