Starting the tour from Sand Dune Adventures' staging area, an experienced guide will take you over tracks through coastal grassland and scrub, as you ride your own 400cc quad bike. Reaching the magnificent sands dunes of Stockton Beach, you'll go up and down more challenging dunes that can range from 40-100 feet high! Take in the sights of the sweeping coastline and 360 degree views of the landscape, spot freshwater lagoons and Aboriginal Midden sites and learn about the history of the land. No experience is necessary to enjoy this fantastic Quad Bike Tour.
1 Hour Quad Bike Tour - Adult & Child on Double Bike: Take your child along with you on the Double Bike. This option is only for 1 Adult & 1 Child, and the child must be a minimum 130cm tall and under 16 years of age.
Sand Dune Adventures is an easy 2 ½ hour drive north on the freeway from Sydney CBD or 1 hour 45 minutes from the start of the Sydney Newcastle Freeway. Heading towards Nelson Bay, Sand Dune Adventures are located 2.4km from the Newcastle Airport turn off, or if you are driving from Nelson Bay, is 31 kilometers from Victoria Parade.
1 Hour Quad Bike Tour departs Daily at 9.30am, 11.00am, 1.00pm and 2.30pm
1.5 Hour Aboriginal Cultural & Sandboarding Quad Bike Tour departs Daily at 9.00am
Children: Minimum child age is 16 years old. For children 15 years and under the Adult & Child on Double Bike option is available (child must be minimum 130cm tall)
