Departing from Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth there are a number of flights to Queenstown available with Air New Zealand, Virgin Australia, Qantas and Jetstar. Getting to New Zealand's ski fields is easy, with a number of transfer options available as well as the ability to self-drive if you're hiring a car. To visit Coronet Peak, drive from Queenstown and take Gorge Road for approximately 5km then turn right onto Arthurs Point Road, following it for 2 km before turning left onto Skippers Road. Follow Skippers Road for about 5km before merging onto Coronet Peak Road where after 4km you will arrive at the Coronet Peak Ski Area. To visit The Remarkables, take State Highway 6A for approximately 6.5km before continuing on to State Highway 6 at the roundabout. Follow Highway 6 for 4km before turning left and driving 13.5km, arriving at The Remarkables Ski Area.
