Uncover the 1856 Untold Story of the arrival of the Bounty Mutineer's descendants from Pitcairn Island. Departing in the evening, your tour guide will take you to the World Heritage Listed Kingston area, bringing the past to life with audio aboard the coach. Under the starry night sky, learn of the 194 people that arrived on Norfolk Island on 8th June 1856 in cold, wet blustery conditions, aboard the Morayshire. Many of them had never been to sea before, therefore suffering from sea sickness as well as homesickness and heartache during their travels. Upon arrival, they landed at an abandoned penal settlement set aside for the 'worst of the worst,' experiencing encounters with ghosts and past memories, trying to adapt to a new environment and making a new life on Norfolk Island.
