We enjoyed our stays at Voyages Desert Gardens and the greenery and facilities and delightful staff. The pre-booked breakfasts were great to start the day on, as there was so much to choose from. Our room, 298, was comfortable, but had less shelves than the Lost Camel Hotel. We had a view of a large dune and transmitter tower out of back deck, but in summer was too hot to use except to dry swimmers.
Staff were friendly and lovely. Great location. Everything organised and on time. We really enjoyed our stay immensely.
Great Hotel with friendly staff, our room was first class ,with a desert view, most enjoyable
All at desert sands were very friendly and helpful in every way
The young ladies at the camel farm were awesome in every way they done a top job
The bus drivers also very helpful and friendly
All in the town center doing a very good job and the food outlets great food and service
All tours were fantastic, we had a great time thanks to all staff everywhere at Ayres rock resort
possibly ceiling fans would be nice
Kids menu was not great. Except for breakfast which was excellent there was not a wide variety suitable for kids.
A very tidy and comfortable stay. All staff are excellent and could not have been more cheery or friendly.
The hotel location is really nice and our room was big and comfortable.
However, the cleaning service we received the next day was pretty poor and rushed, definetely not suitable for the hotel standards.
We had a wonderful 4 night stay in a Rock View room. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The layout of the resort gives it a very peaceful feeling. Our whole experience was truly magical. Thank you everyone who has made a contribution to this beautiful part of the country. Dining service was a little slow and the dessert prices are a bit over the top. In contrast the light meals were very reasonable in price. Apart from this the dining experiences were good - especially at the restaurant at Sails which was walking distance away.
Would recommend
Enjoyed the experience at Uluru. Fantastic weather, excellent location, close to everything.
Even with 3hr plane delay at Sydney (6hrs on the plane) and Tourist Guide losing us when walking the base of Uluru which was not the Hotels fault the whole experience was fantastic and would recommend anyone to visit and stay at the Desert Gardens Hotel.
I never realised the Rock was so big
Clean, cosy accommodation within easy distance to te rest of the resort. Rock View rooms should be advertised as obstructed as foliage partially covers your view from the balcony. I loved that the room had a bathtub. This helped soak away those sore muscles after visiting Uluru (15 kms from the resort).
Great view of the rock from our room. Lots a dining options that catered for all budgets and tastes. Fantastic variety of tours, we really enjoyed the camel sunrise tour.
Comfortable accommodation. Lovely room. Spacious bathroom. Balcony overlooking garden equipped with table and chairs, nice for refreshments outside. Free laundry facilities. Friendly helpful staff. Beautiful native plant garden and surounds.. Lovely swimming pool. Would stay there again and recommend to friends.
Fantastic view of Uluru - couldnt be better!!
Very good
A very relaxing and pleasurable holiday with friendly and helpful people
The hotel is very low key and blends well with the environment, the rooms are pleasant and well maintained.
Staff are very friendly and geniune which was fantastic, also plenty of free parking for cars.
Bathroom a little worn and cobwebs on ceiling .Heating was poor for desert evenings but extra blanket helps.
Overall very handy location and comfortable.
