Club Raro Resort is an Adults only resort and welcomes guests 18 years and over. Conveniently located in the heart of Rarotonga, just 5 minutes from the main township of Avarua and 10 minutes from the International Airport. Situated on the north coast of Rarotonga the resort is set amidst meandering mosaic pathways, swaying palm trees and tropical gardens.
There are over 60 rooms in total and depending on which type of accommodation you book, you will enjoy views of the landscaped freshwater pool, or prime beachfront location with stunning views of the Pacific Ocean. All rooms are clean and have a tropical Polynesian influence and feature air conditioning and 24 hour room service. Indulge in some delicious cuisine in the alfresco dining area while enjoying the striking views out over the lagoon, or unwind with a relaxing massage after a day of sightseeing. Club Raro Resort offers guests a choice of over 60 rooms and offers fantastic value for money! Each room is set within tropical gardens or feature fantastic ocean views.

Standard Room
These rooms are large and spacious, surrounded by tropical gardens & mosaic pathways. The interior decor reflects a Polynesian, tropical influence with a relaxed atmosphere. Bedding is 1 King Bed + 1 Single Bed or 3 Single Beds. Maximum room capacity is 3 Adults.
Self Contained Standard Room
These rooms feature a kitchenette and a shared courtyard are surrounded by tropical gardens. Bedding is 1 King Bed or 2 Single Beds. Maximum room capacity is 2 Adults.
Poolside Room
These rooms feature a private patio overlooking the gardens and swimming pool. Bedding is 1 King Bed + 1 Single Bed OR 3 Single Beds. Maximum room capacity is 3 Adults.
Tamure Garden Room
Club Raro Resort was originally the site of the North Coast's Dance Hall, where locals would come to Tamure (Dance). These spacious suites are located within the tropical gardens of the resort. Bedding is 1 King Bed or 2 Single Beds. Maximum room capacity is 2 Adults.
Studio Apartment
These spacious rooms feature a kitchenette and offer tropical garden views. Bedding is 1 King Bed + 1 Single Bed or 3 Single Beds. Maximum room capacity is 3 Adults.
Ocean View Room
Have magnificent views out to the nearby reef and Pacific Ocean. They offer their own private sundeck and patio. Bedding is 1 King Bed OR 2 Single Beds. Maximum room capacity is 2 Adults.
Dining
Jalapenos: Offers a variety of international and local tropical island cuisine, with views over the tropical gardens. Open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Pool Side Bar: Offers a great range of drinks and snacks to keep you refreshed by the pool.
The resort also offers an all-day Pizza menu and features Mexican cuisine on Sunday nights.

Great trip. Very difficult beginning however, we arrived at Rarotonga at 6am in the morning after flying from Sydney at 9.30pm. Little or no sleep and our average age was 78. Access to our rooms were refused until 2pm that afternoon. Refusal also of any thing to eat or drink until we were officially 'guests'. So we were required to wait on the side of the road for a bus to take us into town to have something to eat and rest on a park bench. It would have been far preferable to have paid the additional day's accommodation and been allowed to rest in our rooms. Apart from that the resort was a nice place to stay.

We had a fabulous holiday
The Cook Islands are sensational. People are friendly & it’s the most organised of the Islands I’ve visited. Clean, well organised, safe, and very strict about their island beliefs. Aitutaki Island is out of this world beautiful! A must see ... we will spend some days there next time instead of the day trip.

A good 3 star property
The lagoon front rooms are far better location than pool rooms , breakfast needs more variety , but in general a good value 3 star property
