Accommodation offerings at Barefoot Kuata Island Resort include garden view and beachfront bures each fan and sea breeze cooled with ensuite bathrooms in stunning settings. The Beachfront Bures feature a tropical outdoor bathroom, while the Beachfront Safari Bures are a glamping style tent with canvas walls and roof with an outdoor shower and private garden with hammock. There are no TVs or internet reception in the bures, allowing you to reconnect with nature.
Renowned for snorkelling and diving with sharks, Barefoot Kuata Island Resort`s qualified Marine Biologists offer safe snorkelling and diving experiences with Fijian reef sharks. Travel 20 minutes by boat to Moia Reef to encounter local White Tip and Black Tip Reef Sharks, Tawny Nurse Sharks, Lemon Sharks, Silver Tip Sharks, Bull Sharks and Tiger Sharks. Back at the resort, enjoy low and high tide swimming right off the beach, more snorkelling, kayaking and stand up paddle boarding.
Accommodation
The stand-alone bures at Barefoot Kuata Island Resort are either steps or less than a minute's walk from the beach. Bures do not have a television or internet reception, allowing guests to fully escape everyday life.

Tei Tei Bure
Located within a minute`s walk to the beach, these bures feature an open roof shower. Room size is 26m². Bedding is 1 Queen Bed. An extra adult can be accommodated on a single couch bed or children can be accommodated on bunk beds. Maximum room capacity is 3 Adults OR 2 Adults & 3 Children.
Beachfront Levu Bure
These glamping style bures feature canvas walls and roof, an open air tropical bathroom and outdoor shower and private garden with a hammock. Room size is 34m². Bedding is 1 Queen Bed. An extra adult can be accommodated on a single couch bed or children can be accommodated on bunk beds. Maximum room capacity is 3 Adults OR 2 Adults & 3 Children.
Beachfront Rai KI Waya Bure
Relax on the deck with stunning beach and Yasawa Island views. Ideal for couples, honeymooners and families, these bures feature an outdoor tropical bathroom. Room size is 24m². Bedding is 1 Queen Bed. An extra adult can be accommodated on a single bed or children can be accommodated on bunk beds. Maximum room capacity is 3 Adults OR 2 Adults & 2 Children.
Beachfront Siga Bure
These glamping style bures are in a genuine beachfront location and feature canvas walls and roof, an outdoor deck and an indoor ensuite bathroom. Room size is 24m². Bedding is 1 Queen Bed. An extra adult can be accommodated on a single bed or children can be accommodated on bunk beds. Maximum room capacity is 3 Adults OR 2 Adults & 2 Children. *This room type is available from 01 April 2025
Dining
A compulsory daily meal plan includes a buffet breakfast, buffet lunch and 3 course dinner. Dishes feature a selection of international and Fijian inspired cuisine with some produce grown in the resort's own garden. Feast on delicious fresh fish, locally sourced from the Yasawa Islands.
Eco-conscious Barefoot Kuata Island Resort are reducing the use of plastics, therefore do not offer straws for beverages and request guests to not bring bottled water to the resort. Desalinated drining water is available 24 hours from the bar and restaurant area.

Getting There
Barefoot Kuata Island Resort is accessible by boat transfer from Port Denarau, taking approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes. The scenic transfer travel through the Mamanuca Islands before arriving at the Yasawa Islands.
