Plantation Island Resort is set on tropical Malolo Lailai Island, just 16 kilometres offshore west from Nadi. Utilising 23 acres of this island paradise, Plantation Island Resort lies on a pristine stretch of beach fronting the lagoon and surrounded by exotic gardens. Plantation Island Resort is commonly referred to as the 3 star resort in a 5 star Fiji island location.
Accommodation at Plantation Island Resort varies from well-appointed hotel style rooms to traditional Fijian bures. With something for every budget, the resort caters for family holidays as well as romantic getaways, from the 2 Bedroom Garden Bure to the Beachfront Bure.
Plantation Island Resort has no shortage of onsite facilities with three swimming pools, cultural and craft demonstrations, a golf course, beauty salon and a kids club. With a myriad of ways to spend your time in Fiji, the resort also offers complimentary snorkelling, kayaking, wind surfing and hand fishing. For an additional fee you can also experience scuba diving, surfing, parasailing, island hopping, water skiing and village tours.

Features pool views and located just steps away from large swimming pool. Size is 54m². Bedding is 1 Queen Bed + 2 Single Sofa Beds. Maximum room capacity is 4 Adults & 1 Child.
Garden Room
Features garden views and nestled in a quieter area of the resort. Size is 54m². Bedding is 1 Queen Bed + 2 Single Sofa Beds. Maximum room capacity is 4 Adults & 1 Child.
Studio Garden Bure
Features garden views with a modern style. A spacious duplex bure which is surrounded by tropical gardens, within easy access to all resort facilities. Size is 39m². Bedding is 1 Queen Bed + 2 Single Sofa Beds. Maximum room capacity is 4 Adults & 1 Child.
Beachfront Hotel Room
Located footsteps from the ocean and feature beautiful views of Malolo Lailai Bay from the balcony. This is a good choice room for small families. Size is 37m². Bedding is 1 Queen Bed + 2 Single Sofa Beds. Extra beds cannot be put into this room type. A cot can be placed into the room. Maximum room capacity is 3 Adults & 1 Child OR 2 Adults & 2 Children.
2 Bedroom Garden Bure
Features 2 separate bedrooms and garden views. Size is 69m². Bedding is 1 Queen Bed + 2 Single Beds + 2 Single Sofa Beds. Maximum room capacity is 6 Adults & Children.
Beachfront Bure
Features a stunning beachfront location. Size is 49m². Bedding is 1 King Bed + 2 Single Beds + 1 Single Sofa Bed. Maximum room capacity is 4 Adults & 1 Child.
Dining
Plantation Island Resort offers a wide variety of food outlets including a Breakfast Bar, Snack Bar, BBQ Deck and Supermarket.
Copra Restaurant & Brigham Bar: This beachside restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner daily offering buffet style meals in a casual setting. A casual snack-lunch menu is also available during the day. The Copra Restaurant is a great place to dine throughout the day and into the evening with family and friends. During times of high occupancy a Fiji Fusion menu will be available.
Tavola Restaurant & Bar: This all-day dining outlet features a Fijian thatched roof with open air spaces and will feature flavours of the Pacific. The a-la-carte menu is sure to please and highlights Pacific Rim cuisine.
Black Coral Grill: An a la carte menu is available for dinner featuring char grill proteins. If you prefer you can cook your own meat to your liking on hot volcanic stone.
Cocohut & Coco Lailai: Start your morning or grab a pick me up in the afternoon, enjoy fresh juice, coffees, frappes and even fresh coconuts!
Tropical Trader: Grab a cool ice-cream, or a quick snack at this convenience store. Enjoy sandwiches, burgers or light meals during the day in a casual and relaxed setting.
Bowl: Features fresh, fast and tasty poke style bowls, great for a healthy lunch or takeaway option.
Ocean Pool Bar: Located next to the Ocean Pool and Poolside Rooms, here you can grab snack foods and cool drinks. Open daily 10am-5pm.

On offer are a range of PADI diving courses for beginners right through to advanced divers. There are a number of safe diving locations within a short boat ride of Plantation Island Resort in warm waters with great visibility right down to 25 metres.

Designed and built by Ananda Madhwan, winner of the Nadi Open 1996, this picturesque 9-hole golf course features a club house and over 2000 yards of tropical green to tee off.
Children
Coconut Kids Club: Plantation Island Resort is a haven for kids with a full range of activities that are sure to entertain all ages. Kids 4 - 11 years can join the complimentary "Coconut Club" and receive a free t-shirt they can decorate. Activities available in the kids club include a jumping castle, treasure hunt, longboat ride, fish feeding, canoe races, crab hunting, beach games and much more! Additional nanny and child minding services are available with reception for a fee. Coconut Kids Club is for kids 4-12 years.
Lairo Club: Offered for the teens 13-16 years, a great place to make new friends and enjoy fun activities including cooking lessons, beach soccer, mini golf, touch rugby, pool volleyball and much more.

During this time guests can choose to dine at the property`s other dining outlets including Copra Restaurant, Tavola Restaurant & Bar, Snack Hut, and new poke bowl style outlet, Bowl.

Enjoyed our stay
We had 6 nights at plantation island, the weather was great. rooms are basic, the room servicing wasn't very good. pizzas were really good. all the restaurants have different pricing for drinks. Kids enjoyed the activities but paddle boards have seen better days. They could be upgraded. muscat cove has a supermarket which was handy .

Plantation Island is Pure Paradise
We loved everything about Plantation Island. The staff are genuinely kind, warm and welcoming and they really made our holiday the best ever. Nothing is ever too much trouble and everyone always greets you with a huge friendly Bula!! The location is absolutely spectacular. The resort facilities and surrounds are beautiful and well maintained. There is so much for the kids to do for free including the waterpark which they absolutely loved. The tours including Reef Fishing, Sand Snorkel & Cloud 9 as well as the Sunset Cruise were all affordable for our family of four and made our holiday truly memorable. There was a good variety of buffets & restaurants and the food was amazing.
