Fabulous resort
Marriott beach & spa, Merlin Beach is an outstanding resort with something to keep every member of your family happy.
It was a little way out which made it a long trip when booking activities & tourist points of interest

Don't need to leave the resort - amazing
We spent 7 nights at the Marriott and it was amazing! Perfect for everyone except people who want to be in the hustle and bustle of Patong. We loved the shuttle which has some free times in the morning and a small fee in the afternoon and evening. Allowed us to venture into Patong but return to the quietness of the Marriott to relax.
Beautiful beach and snorkelling. Reef/aqua shoes not essential but may be useful for people who have sensitive feet. Lots of lounge chairs, beachside bar to have a drink and watch the sunset. Numerous places onsite to eat, swim up bar, poolside menu and service. Beachside massages at both ends of beach and also a small restaurant. Some nearby restaurants with beautiful views of Patong will come pick you up from the hotel for free so just message them.
Breakfast was amazing and catered for everyone.
Lots of different nationalities at the resort which was nice.
Staff are fantastic and kind. My son threw up very badly in the room and we were so grateful that they helped clean it up.
They have lots of activities on for both adults and kids, happy hour, there is a gym and if you have a late flight like us there is a shower you can use so you can still swim and enjoy the resort while you are waiting.
I would definitely stay there again. We are a family of 5 with kids aged 20,17 and 11 and they loved it.

Family Fun
This is a beautiful place. We went as a family of three. Staff are beautiful, resort is fantastic and we had a lot of fun. There are so many activites planned each day for children and adults. The pool is fantastic and the resort is super clean.
We had a wonderful time.
