Getting to Phuket is easy, with approximately 9-hour flights from Australia's east coast. Direct flights to Phuket are available from major Australian cities to Phuket International Airport, and there are also flights via key hubs like Singapore and Kuala Lumpur.

How do I get around Phuket?

Getting around Phuket is easy and affordable, with options like tuk-tuks, taxis, shuttle buses, and private car services all available. The island is also walkable, especially in main resort areas, though taxis may be more comfortable on hotter days.

Can I hire a car in Phuket?

Car hire is available in Phuket, with modern roads and vehicles. Driving is on the left-hand side, similar to the UK and Australia. You'll need a current driver's license in English or a valid International license to hire and drive a vehicle.

Is Phuket a good destination to take children?
