Join your hosts, Scenic Samoa to discover the natural beauty and local's way of life on this full day Savaii Island Southern Tour. The day tour begins with a pick up from your Upolu or Savaii accommodation. If you are staying in Upolu, your tour also includes the return ferry transfers from Malifanua to Salelologa Wharf.

Your first stop for the day is at the Salelologa Market. As you meander through these colourful markets, it is the perfect opportunity to purchase a holiday memento from one the many local vendors selling handicrafts and souvenirs or savour the tastes of some local Samoan produce. From this point the tour heads south towards the coastline travelling through lush tropical rainforests, numerous small coastal communities and onto Taga Sea Arches.

After taking a photo or two of Taga Sea Arches, travel onto Savaii Island's must see natural phenomena, the Taga blowholes. Created by a series of lava tubes watch as the almighty force and pressure of the ocean waters build beneath the surface to erupt, shooting saltwater up to 30 metres in the air. It will surely impress.

Before breaking for lunch, visit a fale for a "Siapo" or "Tapa Cloth" making demonstration. This traditional form of artwork is recreated by the local Samoan women. Learn about the processes involved to turn the raw natural products into the final piece of fine artwork.

Stopping for lunch, the tour breaks for a relaxing swim in the rock pool at the base of the Afu Aau Waterfall. This fresh- water swimming hole is surrounded by stunning rainforest foliage and it the perfect end to your day exploring Savaii Island Southern Tour.
