Drive through Singapore's Civic and Cultural District and see historic landmarks such as the Singapore Cricket Club, The Padang, Parliament House and the National Gallery Singapore. The Gallery also incorporates the City Hall and the former Supreme Court Building.
From here travel on to Merlion Park. Enjoy the stunning views of the waterfront and the Marina Bay. Before leaving don't miss out on a photo opportunity of the mythical creature, The Merlion. Used widely as a mascot for Singapore, this part lion and part fish landmark stands proudly on the marina's foreshores and is a very popular tourist attraction.
Re-board your coach and travel on to visit one of Singapore's oldest Buddhist-Taoist temples - Thian Hock Keng Temple, built to worship the Chinese sea goddess, Mazu. Next, travel to the National Orchid Garden located in the Singapore Botanic Gardens a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Enroute drive past Chinatown. At the gardens, disembark the coach and see the 60,000 orchid plants displayed inside the National Orchid Garden.
