When you get as far as Sippy Downs, turn onto the Sunshine Motorway and follow it until it becomes Brisbane Road which will take you all the way into town. Conveniently located within 15 minutes of Mooloolaba, the Sunshine Coast Airport is home to a number of airlines which operate direct flight services from Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne, making getting to Mooloolaba a breeze for interstate visitors. Flights from Sydney to Mooloolaba take approximately 90 minutes while flights from Melbourne to Mooloolaba take about 2 and a half hours.
Getting to Mooloolaba by coach or bus is an easy and affordable option particularly if you don't have a vehicle of your own. Besides, it's especially nice to let someone else take care of all the driving while you sit back and enjoy the scenery. A variety of bus and coach companies operate services along the Bruce Highway and into Nambour with connections available to Mooloolaba taking about 20 minutes. There are also local bus services for getting around town and to and from the airport.
Getting to Mooloolaba by train is another fantastic option with regular rail services stopping in Nambour and connecting to Mooloolaba.
