Escape Bangkok city for the day on a guided tour to the old capital of Siam, the World Heritage site of Ayutthaya. This small-group tour begins in Bangkok, travelling in an air-conditioned vehicle to the temple ruins of Ayutthaya.
The first stop is Wat Lokayasutha, known for it's giant reclining Buddha. The next stop is Wat Phra Sri Sanphet, which is considered the most important temple of Ayutthaya. Wat Phra Sri Sanphet is where royal rituals were performed in the royal palace complex. Then, visit Wat Mahathat Ayutthaya where you'll find the famous Buddha head entwined within the roosts of a Bodhi tree. The last temple is Wat Chaiwattanaram. This temple is influenced by Angkor Wat in Cambodia, where you can wander the grounds beside the river and marvel at the magnificent architecture. Also included in the tour is an authentic Thai lunch at a local restaurant and entrance fees.
