Combining idyllic tropical scenery with effortless romance, Vanuatu offers a picture-perfect backdrop to bring your destination wedding to life.
There's no denying the romance of Vanuatu's intimate and relaxing setting. The friendly locals and traditional culture make for a charming atmosphere and the perfect place to celebrate your love. With a fantastic choice of venues, accommodation, event planners and spectacular landscapes, Vanuatu ticks all the boxes for your destination wedding.
Vanuatu weddings are legally recognised worldwide, however you will need to complete and lodge some documentation at least 28 days prior to your ceremony. This includes copies of:
• Your birth certificates and passports
• A completed Notice Of Intention to Marry Form
• Divorce papers or former spouse's Death Certificate (if applicable)
• Completed Witness Forms - 2 witnesses are required. Witnesses will need to provide names, place of birth, date of birth, parents' names, residence and occupation.
You must also be in Vanuatu together for at least three days before the wedding.
The Lord Mayor of Port Vila will conduct your civil ceremony and the following is an example of an available Vanuatu wedding package (based on Warwick Le Lagon Vanuatu, Vanuatu).
