This week saw popular hit radio station Nova announce some exciting news for Australian fans of Taylor Swift. In conjunction with Qantas, the popstar heavyweight is set to perform an exclusive and intimate gig on beautiful Hamilton Island as part of their Red Room concert series. Promising to be the biggest in the series so far, this once-in-a-lifetime experience offers an unforgettable night with one of the world's biggest stars and has sent Australian fans of Taylor Swift into overdrive.
Although reported as earning an incredible $1 million a day, money can't buy a ticket to this intimate performance from the Grammy-award winning artist. The only way fans can score themselves a seat in the audience is to win their way in the door. All fans need to do is listen to Nova and ring through when they hear the nominated Swift song being played.
Due to conclude the Australian leg of her world tour in December, Taylor Swift will perform against the backdrop of stunning Hamilton Island for 42 lucky competition winners. Not only will the lucky winners be treated to an intimate, money-can't-buy gig with Swift, they will also get to meet the global superstar.
The total prize package includes everything from return airfares for 2, to breakfast and 2 nights' accommodation at the Reef View Hotel as well as $200 cash. As well as, of course, the incredible private performance and meet and greet with Taylor Swift. Although there's been no word yet on where Ms Swift will stay while visiting Hamilton Island, safe bets are on qualia resort, an ultra-lux and private resort which offers high end accommodation which goes for more than $5,000 per night.
Although only 42 fans will be lucky enough to attend the intimate performance, it's expected that Swift's visit to Hamilton Island will send bookings skyrocketing as eager fans head north to the tropical island destination hoping to catch a glimpse of their idol.
